The fact that there are no posts on this thread days after airing may say something.
Another underwhelming episode for me. I can't quite put my finger on why this season feels so flat. I WANT to like it a lot more than I do.
After that gut-punched McClaren, I wanted him to do a lot more back. He's some great hacker, and the best he can do is get into the guy's email? Meh. And the whole thing about the info., now they both have it anyway? Patty's dad? McClaren's kid? Just not enthralled...

I'm pretty meh on it as well.
What I find funny is that these lawyers on these major cases don't seem to have a lot of people working on it and there doesn't seem to be much of a mess in the offices. Patty's got a decent sized and prestigious firm, but we don't see anyone working with her except when Ellen and Tom were there (we barely ever see any other lawyers in her office). It's just Patty at her extremely neat desk on a computer... and at home usually reading a document while drinking. The same goes for Ellen. Even with Kate's drowning in boxes of information, they're all neatly stacked boxes and we never really saw her in the middle of the chaos. Everything just all seems too clean which makes it feel a lot less real. Dumb complaint, but I had to mention that after all this time watching the series.
Even McLaren's office - these are big time computer guys and they simply each have a notebook. There may be a server room, but you figure they'd have a few workstations around.
Was that the daughter from Rosanne? She's looking pretty rough.
