Hard Knocks Returns with the Miami Dolphins (8/7/2012)

HBO Sports and the Miami Dolphins team up for an all-access look at what it takes to make it in the National Football League.

Being a long suffering Miami Dolphins season ticket holder I'm looking forward to watching this and seeing if Coach Philbin can right the ship.

I don't think it matters who the team is Hardknocks is just a great show. They might have focused a bit too much on Johnson last night but he made for some interesting TV.

I agree. This for me is like Deadliest Catch. I go in thinking, it has to be the same old thing, and having been through training camps myself (though college, not pro) how can anyone find this to be interesting, let alone after how many seasons? But it never fails to be fascinating.

Is it me or will Woody Harrelson look just like Philbin when he's 75? Too bad Philbin is in his 50's.

Ryan Tannehill certainly hit the jackpot with that wife of his.

Pretty eventful week. Starting QB hurts his knee requiring surgery, plus the whole Chad Johnson mess.

great episode, the show is fascinating just as a behind the scenes look at a football camp but when you add in all the drama it goes to another level.

Philbin is a complete mope. I cant imagine interviewing him for a head coaching job and coming away impressed. He has a permanent look on his face like someone just told him his dog died.

Theory 1: His son did die right around the time of interviews. Maybe Ross just assumed it was that.

Theory 2: Maybe it is that. It's hard losing a son.
