Same here...no non-HD channels are in my favorite channels list. I do occasionally go off the HD reservation, but it has to be for something pretty special like Bad Girls Club. So BBCA in HD is very welcome news...probably was my #1 remaining want for HD. Now at least I can start griping about some other channels instead.

It's about God damn time. There's alot of stuff I wanted to watch on BBC-A, but watching it in SD drove me nuts. I missed out on watching Law and Order UK and Luther. Waited to get Luther on Netflix instead.

Hopefully it gets launched in time for Copper. I do want to see that.

Aarrgh! F**king Verizon FIOS has been saying for years that BBC America is on their list of HD channels to be added in the future, but it hasn't happened yet. Maybe this will give them some incentive.

Just hope they add FUSE and Reelz HD too sometime in the future

beIN is the new soccer channel (I think covering the Spanish and Italian leagues). I think it's replacing Gol on DTV.

Rumor has it they are close to a deal for the Pac 12 Network(s).

Edited Doctor Who in HD. They cut out something like 20 minutes an episode.

to Ion being in HD. Can watch the final season of Flashpoint in HD this Fall. I had to buy the episodes on Amazon because I knew Directv didn't have the channel in HD.

Not 100% confirmed, but there is some chatter that the new HD channels will go live this Wednesday at 6am ET on DBSTalk. Good timing for BBC America since their new show Copper premieres next weekend.

Hopefully it will make its way to U-verse soon.
