I enjoyed Toast of London (watched it early this year). Matt Berry is hilarious.

Season 2 started.

Does anyone know if the BBC series The Driver will be airing here in the States?

Not Going Out (7th series)

Peep Show, series 9, starts tonight. Unfortunately, it's the final series.

Damn, I'm going to miss this show.

Unforgotten is pretty good. It's on it's 5th ep. now. It's similar to Cold Case with several suspects for a murder that happened 40 years ago.

Re: General UK TV Show chatter.

Good news regarding the return of Still Game.

I've been re-watching this, lately, and it holds up very well.

FORD KIERNAN and Greg Hemphill have made the strongest hint yet that Still Game will be back on our screens in 2016.

Ford said: "It's probably sooner than you can imagine. That's all I'm really allowed to say. We are in serious talks and a good way toward it and I've been warned on death not to mention anything more than that.

"We've been talking about it for an entire year. It's a year since we did the Hydro and so we've been in talks about it since then. The Hydro completely changed everyone's attitude.

"There wouldn't have been as big a response as it was if we hadn't been away that long. Nobody has stopped talking about it. Everybody has been saying bring it back.

"Now we are on Netflix and have a stack of twitters and emails from Australia, Canada, New York, New Zealand everywhere so demand is picking up so I think it would be daft not to at least examine the possibilities of bringing it back."

Ford also suggested that the live show, which was beaten to the post by Mrs Browns Boys' for a BAFTA award, could also go on the road again.

He said: "We might do another live one. I've always really fancied doing Australia and Mrs Brown has been out there and there is a huge ex-pat contingent there and I'd love to go and examine what possibilities are there.

"It's an odd nomination for us. Initially I thought it was because of the Hydro but it's the televised version of the Hydro so only an hour-long because that was the only slot that BBC Scotland had for it. We've had a lot of BAFTAs so it might be a good idea to give it to someone less."

Greg Hemphill added: "We're hoping to get Still Game working at some point next year and are talking to the BBC and those things are ongoing I guess. We owe the punters one more time. Before the Hydro we were off for seven years and we were overwhelmed by their support when the show was not active so we do owe them."

You, Me and the Apocalypse was a really fun show to watch with lot of US based actors. Really recommend tracking that show down.

Based the last episode he can also sing pretty well. Doing the show's theme live with his band over the end credits was just another WTF? for that show. Loved it!

BTW, this episode made me wonder about House of Fools. Has anyone seen that?

Finally getting around to watching this.

Mark: (staring at a Dobby icon in his "Find My Friends" app on his phone): There she is, hovering ominously...Dobby's yellow head. I'm not about to masturbate looking at the head. That's what they want me to do.

Yeah that caught me way off guard when they did the theme live after the one episode. Plus his singing voice was not what I would have expected.

Very much enjoying Tripped, although it's only 4 episodes long. Hopefully they'll do another season.

Also great to have Benidorm, Brian Pern and Stella back this week.

andicus 01-12-16 02:05 PM

Re: General UK TV Show chatter.

^Yeah, looking forward to the return of Stella.

Mild casting spoiler regarding a new character:
Spoiler:
Tony Gardner will be in this season, as well.
