Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
Since it didn't look like this was out there yet, I thought I'd start it. It looks like AD airs on Sho2 this year from 12-3 ET Sat-Thurs and 1-4ET on Fri after the Thursday live show.
Looking forward to three of the four returnees, but why/how did we get stuck with Boogie w/o Will? Doesn't seem fair. |
Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
It looks like Frank and Kara are nominated. Veto is tomorrow.

Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
Anything else interesting from the first night of the show?

Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
the only nudity came froom season 9, but its just a bunch of people talking for three hours. You get more insight to who these people are which is nice.

Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
Nudity depends on what is happening during those 3 hours. Season 9 had a ton, other seasons not so much. Mona (not sure on the spelling) during Britney's season was caught in the shower. But other than season 9 that is what you get, just a quick glance.

Is there nudity on this show? My first season with Showtime so don't know what they actually show. And it's 3 hours of new footage every night?!?!
Like others have said, there's really only one season where the cast went wild. It's certainly something that can happen, but it's in no way guaranteed. |
Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
Speaking of season nine, is that hot tub/pool orgy available online anywhere?
I've only seen bits and pieces of it and would like to watch the whole thing. |
Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
One thing that should be noted to new people with BBAD. This is basically just 3 hours of the live feed. The only difference is that you only get 1 camera view which they choose (it's 4 online) and it gets cut into to run ads for showtime shows.

Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
I goggled and could not find the full video. I'm going off a couple of clips I just watched and what I remember when it was on. You do not see a lot, it is just them pairing off and kissing each other in the pool (girl on girl too) but they had a ton of bubble bath in the pool. So while some did take there suits off you don't see much during that scene. Other than James trying to knock himself out with his junk, which I'm trying to forget.

I think I've worked out what they're going to do with the twist. After next Thursday's eviction, there will only be 10 players left in the game (after 1 week!). At this rate, the jury would start forming after only 3 weeks in the house. That makes absolutely no sense. We all know how they like to drop the twist after a few weeks. I think once it looks like a mentor has a chance of losing all 3 players, they will end up putting those 4 into the game as players.
And they're not going to bring back Janelle, who is known for winning competitions, and never have her compete. |

And they're not going to bring back Janelle, who is known for winning competitions, and never have her compete. How exactly could that work? The winning mentor was promised $100,000. If your team has 2 people left when another team had none, if they put that mentor in the game, would they be playing to win $500,000 or $100,000? After all, none of the mentors will have been competing for as long as the other players, yet the mentors are already promised $100,000 for doing nothing if their team wins, so if they play, you'd think they'd deserve more money for winning. It does seem like you don't bring back Janie without having her play the game. She's a challenge legend. Still very sad about who's most likely to go next week. |
Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
No, I think they'll just get rid of the twist altogether. All 4 mentors will enter the game at the same time. They can either add that mentor prize to the 500k or just get rid of it. I don't know, they'll make something up. If this really does end up happening, I'm sure the returning players already knew about it in advance.
There's really only a few scenarios possible: 1. Mentors enter the game 2. New players enter the house 3. They bring back 2-3 evicted players later on in the game #1 makes the most sense to me. Otherwise, this is going to be the shortest season ever. |
Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
This coach/mentor thing is a really stupid fucking twist.
You have sixteen people in the house. Twelve of those people are competing against each other for the prize. Then you have four other people who aren't playing anything... I'm assuming the coaches don't get to compete in HOH/veto comps or vote for eviction. This twist also sucks in that fucked up everyone's game on the first day. Each player's fortunes either rose or fell when they were selected by a coach and forced into an alliance for which they had no choice, and to top it all off, one of them was unceremoniously thrown out of the game on the first day. Fucking weak... |

Otherwise, this is going to be the shortest season ever. I know $100,000 is a lot of money for doing practically nothing, but from what I've heard, Mike Boogie had enough money to last several lifetimes. While I'm sure he likes being on television again, he probably is aware that he's going to be in this for the $500,000, not counting all the talk (that I believe) that Allison pays these returning people money in advance. I guess my point was, if a coach/mentor is sitting next to a regular house guest at the end, how is it remotely fair when one person played the game from the start, while the mentor might not even have to do a challenge for a month? Not that fair has much to do with BB, but that's pretty big for even this show. I really hope AG messes with these people all week in the DR, so the eye candy doesn't leave so soon. Of the "new" people there really isn't even a second place to her. Britney is really cute, but married people are going to be more conservative this time around. Although I was really surprised how hammered Janelle was last night. |
Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
The mentors are competing in a weekly "coaches challenge". The challenge allows them to keep one of their players safe for the week. Boogie won this week and kept Ian safe.

Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
One of the coaches gets a "Coaches' Suite" for a week, though I don't know if its the coach of the HOH or the winner of the aforementioned challenge.

Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
Is anyone following things on the inside pretty closely already? I just read something about Boogie commenting that his number one pick is on his way out the door.
Have things flipped again, at least for now, in terms of who is most likely to get the boot on Thursday? #TeamKara |
Re: Big Brother 14 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
^^^ Too soon to tell, and it won't be clear until after veto ceremony. Right now I'd say it's 60-40 that Kara is gone.
Man, Janelle and Britney have been talking strategy and trash over/about everybody else for over an hour on BBAD (is there nothing else happening in the house that SHO2 can cut to?). I'm relatively new to BB (this is the 4th year I'm watching) but it never ceases to amaze me how delusional and self-centered the people on this show slip into as soon as they settle into a comfortable routine (i.e. when the CBS/SHO2/feeds kick in a few days after the HG's are already locked inside). Everything Jan and Brit are accusing everybody else of being/doing (camera whores, talking s*** behind their back, back-stabbing, scheming, making alliances they don't plan to stick with, etc.) is precisely what they themselves are doing. They're actually bitching why Danielle would want to be on the show to get camera time away from... who, them? :D I know, that's BB and the fishbowl environment they're in but it still amazing for me to experience. From their talk it seems that Jan and Brit and everybody else in the house already assumes the coaches are coming into the game, so these two are already making plans of how to turn the new HG's against Dan first and Boogie after without getting their hands dirty. For the time being though it looks like AG is making Jan and Brit the stars of BBAD. |
