I'm bet my left nut that the mentors knew they'd be playing all along. Even if I didn't want Kara to stay, I'd rather get out someone strong and take a chop off of Boogie's team, so Dan and Boogie are both weaker than to just focus on Dan and leave Boogie strong.

I wonder how much jealousy of sharing cam time with Kara is factoring into the votes of the females. If Janie and Brit are going to talk smack all night, I probably won't even check in on BBAD. The few times I've checked so far also seemed to feature mostly Britney and/or Janelle.

Britney and Janelle pretty much confirmed my prediction tonight. They were going over the numbers and trying to work out what week they would enter the game. They're under the assumption that they may have time to get rid of a mentor before this happens (I don't think BB will let that happen). With Dan already down one player, that makes it almost certain that Kara will go home this week (unless BB intervenes).

Crap, that challenge was so poorly thought out by production. The winner of that challenge for the mentors/coaches should have been able to keep their entire team safe.

Then Dan competes hard and maybe wins, Kara doesn't get nominated. But the whole idea of him thinking if he could only keep one girl safe by winning was something he shouldn't have had to think about. In the end, they would have gone after whichever girl he didn't keep safe to weaken his team by another person.

And Boogie wanted to keep Frank safe by winning, thinking Ian was a target and not thinking Frank would be. So, it didn't even end up benefiting the winner.

That challenge had unintended consequences that are as stupid as setting this up to have teams and not just having the 4 returning players in the game from the beginning. They're all going to act like it's a big surprise or twist when only a few days into the game, they were already planning for what to do once they were no longer coaches and were in the game for real.

And the edit certainly appears to me that the DR people know Kara's fate is sealed.

Even on Survivor, which I take a lot more seriously, because it's a lot less fixed and is much more difficult to win, knows you don't want to lose the prettiest girl or the most interesting personality in the first few weeks. Janie looks like she came out of a mold and Britney married a guy considerably less handsome than me, so she's not got any reason to try and look hot this summer. Once Kara goes, there's really no one left other than JoJo, if you like that type...and I really, really don't.

edit to add: As of now, it appears Kara has the votes to stay and the people who've made that happen seem unlikely to change their minds. I wonder if the DR did get into their heads some, because as crazy as the house is until the vote, I'd give her a 75% chance of the vote not flipping back the other way, when it looked really bleak for her 1 day ago.

I'm sure this show has been edited for awhile; the entire episode took place before the live feeds started. As for who goes home, after Joe's big lie today I think the whole thing is in a state of flux. It all depends if Janelle, Willie and co continue to believe the lie, or it gets outed.

Personally, I have no idea yet who is going home on Thursday yet. It's changed a couple times in the last few days.

I have no idea who's going home on Thursday either. Paranoia and the mental exhaustion of talking game 24/7 is already getting to Janelle, Britney and Willie, who have flip-flopped at least twice about whether they keep Kara or dump her... ans there's FOUR days left! Britney I feel has a good chance of becoming this season's Chyna (minus the microphone-throwing temper tantrum): the mentally-exhausted, couldn't care less, throw-arms-in-the-arm player that becomes an unpredictable live wire. I don't see her lasting the length of the season or risk seeing her head explode, "Scanners"-style. :p

BTW, the current date between Ashley and Ian on BBAD: I've seen more sparks fly at an abandoned cemetery than between these two. :D

Didn't Boogie ask Kara out on date for his birthday? Did she go through with it? Are they showing any of that, because I would expect it would go about the same or worse than Ashley and Ian?

I can't stay up for BBAD, so I just check over at Jokers and when I really want to know something, I force myself into the chat where those people seem more than a bit insane about the show.

But the consensus is something happened (I guess this big lie that I know nothing about) which is unlikely to change the minds of the people who who've flipped over into wanting to keep Kara.

Obviously, it can flip again, but they made it seem like this was a pretty big deal and likely to send Frank home.

Joe has wanted Frank out all along. He and Janie had a long talk on last night's AD about how stupid he thought it was to keep Frank. Today, Joe came to Janie about a conversation he was either apart of or overheard between Frank and Jenn about how they were going to target Shane and Willie next week. The consensus on Joker's was that this was a fabrication designed to get Frank out.

That having been said, if it didn't happen there are still four days left for all of that to come out. With as much flipping as they've had, it's too early to tell who's going home.

Well, apparently Frank isn't going out of the BB house (assuming he is, who the hell knows at this point between her and Kara) without doing his damnest to poison the entire house against Willie for some alleged homophobic slur the latter used mocking Wil (not sure if this actually happened or was something blow out of proportion). Danielle is either BS'ing her way into Dan's favors or fishing, and now poor Britney looks even more depressed and sullen than she looked in her post-Brigade reveal BB days (when the season was nearly over). Gotta say, considering nothing really has happened on BB/BBAD/the feeds that's really dramatic besides the house meetings/accusation today, it's been fascinating to watch the cooker-pressure worries about gameplay drive these contestants into frustrating mental exhaustion (especially the noobs and Brit; the other three coaches are showing their mettle by not panicking and remaning collected).

EDIT: Willie (cursing like a champ!) and Frank are screaming at each other and having a verbal blow-out (how nice of them to wait until Showtime 2 came on to fight :)). Joe and Boogie are also getting dragged (a grab for airtime during Thursday's show?). :D

Earlier in the HOH room Willie cursed by using the 'N' word (not the best way to clear yourself of gay bashing accusations); CBS must be so happy now they cast a Hantz on the show! :rolleyes:

Holy shit, Dan is using Willie's desperation after the latter blew-up at Frank's to keep Kara safe this week and keep his team with two players. Kara and Danielle talkied to Willie and promising him the world (and what Willie wants most: protection from being put on the block next week) if he uses his friends to all vote Frank out on Thursday. Dan talking to Willie before he sent his girls to HOH was smooth BS talking like a master motherf***er manipulator; my respect for Dan just shot up.

If you haven't you should read/watch what took place Tuesday on the feeds/recaps. A lot has changed in 24 hrs. and, love him or hate him, Willie has up-ended the house and turned every allieance/coach group into many splintered sub-alliances. The best "BBAD" in ages tonight, and it's only week 1; game is on!

Come on, what's a brother gotta do to get updates from work on what the heck is going on with these crazies?

Someone has to be at home, in college or otherwise addicted and able to follow things closely.

I can check Joker's from my office, but I don't have the time to read enough to get any real sense of what's going on.

Is Kara still looking safe or has it changed again? Why the hell would they even be considering getting out a girl who's only there to get tv exposure (and pretty much failing at that so far), because her Playboy days didn't get her where she wanted to be against a guy who could potentially be a "winner" down the road?

When they all pretty much know the coaches are coming back, why are they fixated on getting out "Dan's team?" Team loyalty is going to mean nothing soon.

^^^ Before the fight with Frank, Willie used the 'N' word as an insult to hypothetical opponents (paraphrasing: I'm going to ***********-up those people) while talking with Shane, Ian, Britney (I think) and maybe Jenn. Only Ian reacted, bringing up last year's Jeff gay-bashing "Harry Potter" thing making it to CNN as proof that there are words nobody in the BB house should use. So Willie didn't call anybody the 'N' word, he used it as an expression of what he'd do to his critics. See? Totally innocent! :rolleyes: :p

And holy shit, Britney without make-up and pimples (from being so stressed and nervous?) on BBAD right now is kind-of sad. I think she realizes her shot at $100K (let alone $500K) went down the crapper with Willie's outburst last night. Since she picked him as HOH the girl's self-confidence as coach has really taken a pounding.

I've already lost interest in this show. I'm sure I'll watch it for a while, but only because it's summertime. I also have no idea who's with who and I don't know if Janie is worth rooting for this time or if Britney's become a freak. I can't believe they kicked out the least threatening person in the house.

As much as he's painted himself as an asshole I hope Willie gets saved by POV and stays another week after this (I'm assuming he's automatically on the block) to keep some drama going. The game's been on for a week but it felt like a month's worth of stuff happened during that week, and Willie was a big reason why.

Holy shit, Willie might already be gone from BB by the time "After Dark" starts tonight. Can you say 'Chima 2.0'?

Earlier today the Coach's Challenge resulted with JANELLE winning and promptly wasting her protection pick on Ashley; then she picked all of Britney's team (JoJo, Shane, Willie and a volunteeering Ian) to be Have Nots for the week. This was apparently the breaking point for Willie, who went on a door-slamming, insult-throwing, apliance-breaking tirade; he openly said he'd pick a fight. Frank and his crew actually locked themselves in the HOH for fear Willie would come in and start trouble. Willie tried multiple times to get into the Diary Room and the producers wouldn't let him. Then fish/triva came on and it's been on for the past three hours. Either Willie is being read the riot act by Allison Groder to get back in line or he's already out the door.

Either way (muzzled Willie or no Willie) tonight's "After Dark" should be epic. :)

CONFIRMED BY JOKERS/FEEDS: Willie has left the building. Shane and JoJo are already nominated and on the block.

BBAD comes on and first thing we hear: Ian taking a shit on Showtime for showing the same four or five commercials for their shows ("Nurse Jackie," "Weeds," "Dexter," etc.) on "After Dark" during their loud, obnoxious commercial breaks. You go, girl! :D

And tonight, of all nights, the hopelessly-out-of-date and useless info scroll/recap at the start of every segment is even more out-of-date and useless than usual.

Ian on the feeds and "After Dark" recaps what happened that got Willie throw out of the game:

Threw pork rinds at Janelle, called her a Bi**h. She responded with F. you.

Face bumped & shoulder bumped Joe. Called him a *ussy.

Headbutted and chestbumped Joe
Threw pork rinds at Janelle.
Kicked the HN door a few times.
Repeated swear words.
(BB) Told Joe to stay in the BR, sent Willie to the DR, told Joe not to follow Willie into DR.

They (HG's) waited a couple of hours.

AG came over the loudspeker and told them he wasn't coming back.

Then nominating ceremony was quickly done and Shane and Jojo were quietly nominated by Frank

Then pizza for everyone (even the Have Nots) from BB as a token thank you for putting up with the past few tense hours.
