In case you didn't know, this was renewed for a 10 episode 2nd season. They are currently filming it right now.

Hard to believe it's already over. I can see this getting an Emmy nod.

I hope it doesn't take forever to get Season 1 on home video, but it would be nice to see a bump from 10 to 12 episodes for Season 2 (I guess that's not happening though).

Not at all. An impulsive girl does something impulsive after she's been called out for being a tease, a control freak accepts a loss of security, an innocent confused girl accepts an advance she's unsure of and a self-centered lead finds herself questioning what she wants next. Seems reasonable to me

By the way, I highly recommend all fans of Girls check out the first podcast listed here of the BS Report, where Bill Simmons spends a full hour interviewing (and gushing over) Lena Dunham. They discuss the show in great depth and Lena is very candid with her opinions. A really great listen.

I semi-enjoyed the show. To me it's more interesting than funny, but I'm kinda bummed that I don't get what's fantastic about it. I feel like I'm missing out

Maybe I'm having a hard time relating to these lazy, entitled people. Or maybe I've had extreme luck in my own (love)life, since I can't recognize very much of what's going on here

Haha. I imagined them passing eachother in the halls at 30 Rock and having some weird convo. "Oh hey I worked with your daughter today!" "Oh yea...how'd that go?" "Well...I licked icing off her tits"

I didn't really care for the final 3 or 4 minutes of the show with just Dunham, but overall it was good.

Adam gets the best lines. Ray's a close second.

Loved this episode. Marnie surprised me which is remarkable since I've hated her from the beginning. I have to go watch Tiny Furniture now to get some more Lena.

I loved it. Very Louie-esque - who Lena is oft compared to because of this show.

This show really took me by surprise. It was funny, dramatic, emotional. It really packs a punch, IMO.

My favorite episode is probably "All Adventurous Women Do" because of the scene with her gay ex and that ending just hit me with her dancing her worries away. A simple scene that said so much.

Great finale... Adam, once again, kills it with his impreccable lines, and by showing more of himself to Hanna (and, she, naturally is oblivious to what he's doing).

Bobby Moynihan getting some action! I thought his goofy shtick with Marnie sounded genuine, like a dude who knows he probably can't nail this chick so he's just playing it cool and being a bit silly.

I would never fuck Shosh.

I'd have to say that it was a let down after enjoying this show so much. It just meanders about, and then... nothing.

HBO hasn't scheduled it yet. Most likely Spring 2013.

And no, I live in California and Girls is shot in New York. The reason I know they are filming right now is because Donald Glover from Community was reportedly seen shooting a scene for next season. Lena recently confirmed it.

Agreed. I really enjoyed it. I jumped in just prior to episode 7, having caught up on demand. Glad I decided to check it out.

I read somewhere that HBO is bringing it back in January. Maybe they want to see how it does following a different series instead of having it on during Game of Thrones' season.
