Re: Necessary Roughness -- Season 2 Thread -- Wednesdays (USA)
I just saw the season premiere last night.
Good start to the season. Yeah like TK's fate was ever in doubt. That sucks that they dropped the hot SI reporter who was sort of his girlfriend.
Interesting that they made Evan Handler (Runkel from Californication) as the owner of the Hawks. Should be an interesting dynamic with him butting heads with Nico because of the affair. Also, to see Handler play someone other than Runkel. I do hope they bring back Liz Vassey as his wife. She looked great in the last few episodes from season 1.
I'm always in favor of seeing Callie Thorne/Dr. Dani being a little more sexual. Although I don't really care for her and Matt being paired together. I thought she had better chemistry with Jason Gedrick from last season.

Re: Necessary Roughness -- Season 2 Thread -- Wednesdays (USA)
I just caught up with this show the past week. Watched all of season one and what has aired of season 2 in a little over 5 days. I've always been a fan of USA shows - but usually I'll only watch them in spurts catching up on DVD and forgetting about them for a while. But with this show I feel like I'm already sucked in, and it's actually a lot more compelling than a lot of the shows offered on broadcast networks because while it's a procedural, it's an ensemble drama at it's core, which is the perfect mix.
While I knew that TK wasn't going anywhere - I was surprised that they gave him such a hardcore wound, should set up an interesting dynamic for the rest of the season.
Is it just me or did her kids actually get a little less annoying and a little more endearing?
