I'm still surprised no one's released the actual first season anywhere yet. Or that Cinemax hasn't been smart enough to air it while we wait.

I don't think it's necessary to show the UK 1st season. The only connection the 2 seasons had was the cameo appearance by Richard Armitage (Porter)other than that, the Cinemax season was pretty much standalone. Scott and Stonebridge have already established themselves as solid lead characters.

They released it on blu and dvd in the UK. I'm not sure if it's region free or not.

Not a matter of necessary. Just always thought it was a way to keep the wait for the show going and Cinemax can keep the ratings going.

Its out there, why not utilize it type of thing.

Actually it's very different. I say skip it unless you're a completist.

I watched The Hunter over the weekend. I knew he was Australian, but was still weird hearing Sullivan Stapleton (Scott) with an Aussie accent.

How many episodes will this be? So I can complain to Directv and get Cinemax for the required length of time after their fuck up with the Closing Ceremony last night.

I am pretty sure it's 10 episodes, like last season was.
