Oh, and another thing I disliked:

Spoiler:
showing that Theon was being taken alive . You are left to wonder for quite some time in the books if he survived. They only mention in passing that he did in three

In all honesty, he is such an annoying character that I hope he is left on the bench for a while.

As I understand it, the Syrio & Jaqen is a common one.
Spoiler:
The author hasn't flat out said that Syrio died, he has heavily implied it. I think it is odd he keeps dodging the question by saying things like Syrio was good, but he was also unarmed. He even got annoyed at one convention when the question came up and said that Syrio wasn't immortal and a guy with a stick won't win against a guy in armor with a sword. But... he didn't say he died and thus could have been put in the dungeons.

I've been trying to avoid spoilers, but I did risk it and look that one up.

And in the books
Spoiler:
Syrio had agreed to return to Winterfell and continue Arya's training. In the show they had the scene where Ned watches her dancing lessons and hears war sounds in his head. Maybe he made Syrio swear to train her to survive

There are all kinds of fan theories kicking around out there.

A while back I read one that claims Ned Stark is still alive. Which is sort of plausible considering the way the book tells the story through POV characters, but the series made it very clear that Ned Stark was, indeed, beheaded.

There's also a very popular - and possible - theory regarding Jon Snow's parentage, though I wouldn't be surprised if Martin abandoned it if he was planning on using since everyone seems to have figured it out.

I read that George RR Martin told D.B. Weis and David Benioff the ending already in case he kicks the bucket. Pretty nice of him.

Note that I deleted the spoiler tags and any text that may be called a spoiler (BTW, it's not really one, IMO) and just left this section...

Did they do those in that order?

I think some but not all take that appearance. I visualized them as
Spoiler:
like the wrestlers Andre the Giant and Big Show. Not Giants per se, but really large men. They could be easy to pull off in the series, just use forced perspective to make them appear taller.

I still don't understand why everything needs to be revealed/explained. This could be resolved in the first 5 minutes of Episode 1 - Season 3.

Also, the show has been pretty good at keeping things from the POV of various characters. With Theon knocked out and the kids in the crypt, we lost our "POV" in Winterfell. THEY don't know what happened...so why should the viewers know?

Relax please. The original question is whether we would ever see them. The fact that the wildling soldier was wearing a giant skull doesn't answer that question. Dr. DVD was just confirming what it was.

What hahn said. No one ever confirmed whether or not we'll see them. They answered my questions.

Thanks guys! No fighting!

Also, the cinematography and sound editing in the final scene was masterful, as good as anything I've ever seen in a feature film. It was easily one of my favorite episodes of the show. To each their own, I guess.
Exactly the same feelings. One thing about the walkers at the end, part of me was thinking it was Jeor Mormont, just looked like the same facial structure.... I guess not though eh? Despite my initial reservations on the 1st season, I thought this season really stepped it up, and made the most of the budget since they had the assets from s1 as a starting point. Hopefully further seasons continue the trend.

So wait, anyone that dies North of the wall is "fair game" for coming back to life and should be treated as such? Or is it only in certain areas and/or depending on if the Creatures come across the body?
