America's Got Talent - Stern Edition

"America's Got Talent," NBC's top rated summer series from producers FremantleMedia North America and Simon Cowell's SYCO Television, returns this summer with the hottest performers from across the country ready to compete in the blockbuster reality show's seventh season. The live shows will originate from the New York Tri-State area this summer. This year, outspoken, unedited radio personality, television host and author Howard Stern joins the experienced and talented judge dais alongside comedian, TV host and producer Howie Mandel and daytime TV host, reality producer and music manager Sharon Osbourne. Actor, producer and comedian Nick Cannon returns as host.

I've never seen an episode but due to a new addition I will be watching every episode. Stern rules, Baba Booey.

Re: America's Got Talent - Stern Edition

I am out, loved (and my family love it also) the show before, but HS is not the person I find enjoyable at all.

Sorry, but if this is a guy they want to prop up, then I will turn it off.

What talent does he have to be a judge anyway?

What talent did any of the judges have? Stern's been the biggest radio personality of all time, creating a new broadcasting style that changed the face of radio forever.

Are your kids going into this with preconceived notions of who Howard Stern is? Why don't you let them watch the show and decide if they like it or not?

Howard has been a legitimate fan of AGT since day one, he's always talking about it. He's not going into this show to do what he did on the radio in the 80's, he's a changed man.

I really hope this thing flops just for the blow to Stern's massive ego.

Re: America's Got Talent - Stern Edition

For the most part, I like America's Got Talent, but I haven't stuck with it to the finale since Barbara Padilla (who was hot and brilliant) got robbed by that fucking Chicken Farmer a few seasons ago. That left a bad taste in my mouth.

For those who have never watched the show, it's 4 hours a week (2 episodes per week) all the way to early-mid September.

What talent did Piers Morgan have to be a judge? He was a newspaper guy from England who is friends with Simon Cowell. That's why he got the job.

Sharon Osborne is really mainly known as the wife of Ozzie.

It hasn't even started yet. I can't wait for the first live technical mishap, guarentee people in the crowd start yelling "SCOTTTTTTT"

So are you a Stern fan/listener? Just wondering if you got the reference or if you thought it was a serious question.

Watching for the first time as well. Can't see anyone being unhappy with him so far.

Re: America's Got Talent - Stern Edition

Not a reality show fan nor a Stern fan but I turned the tube on and this happened to be on so I gave it a shot.

Disclaimers aside, Stern fit right in and I thought it was a blast. I don't see how anyone could not enjoy him here.

Oh, and I LOVED the "earth harp" guy. That was awesome.
