Interesting. So Bird's partner on the other side caused the accident. I wonder if we are going to get closure on this show as to why it is how it is.

They have known from the beginning the slim chances they had, so I really hope we know at least a little about the secret.
This episode was great, I was reading comments about it in Twitter that decided to watch it live, instead of from the DVR today.

Oh and my theory is that his son is dead.
The wife alive is the only real world. I'm sure they left a lot of clues in all the episodes, that the other world is not real.

He's threatened to close so many threads of shows I like when they get cancelled though!

Regardless of the cancellation, I'm going to finish out this season. It's such a well produced and intelligent show that I want to see how the season ends. At least I want to show some respect to Howard Gordon and Kyle Killen's work on this show. It sucks that this show never resonated with people for some reason. I know alot of people in this forum didn't stick with it when they saw the ratings and also thought it was just another boring Cop show. But, I think the serialized elements are getting stronger near the end of the season.
As for this episode. I fucking loved it.
The storytelling was brilliant IMO and the big twist at the end with Kevin Weisman being the guy who caused the crash was very cool.
at Bird's ridiculous mustache.
I also thought Jason Isaacs gave a really solid performance. I'm also starting to think that the Green Universe might not be real.

This was the only show I looked forward to every week. The writing and acting were amazing. I'm so upset that it was cancelled, but I'll certainly be watching the final 2 episodes.

Pilot was wonderful, the rest were sub par.
Are they finishing off the storyline or do we get an open ended series finale?

Sigh.
This show has really grown on me. I didn't realize it had been canceled until I read this thread.
My theory has always been that he's in a coma and will wake up at the end to discover both his wife and son are alive.

I follow Kyle Killen in twitter and he said that we will have some kind of closure with the finale. Since it was finished before they knew the show was going to be canceled, there are going to be some open questions, of course.
He also said that he will answer any question after the finale, in his twitter TL.

i have really liked Jason Isaacs since "Brotherhood" and was hoping he would find a show that succeeded and was appreciated.

There were two or three of the other cops at the carnival after he woke up there. The chief was wearing wings and his partner was there maybe one other.
