I don't think it's so much my stupidity, as it is the show's bad way of explaining it.

So, this Olivia is "now" the right Olivia because she merged with the other right Olivia?

I just explain this stuff to myself by saying "oh it was rebooted."
It's the same universe... you can think of the beginning of this season as what the 'blue' universe would be if Peter died when he was a little boy (if September didnt save him when he drowned).

The way I like to think about it is: (think Back to the Future)
a) Marty McFly doesnt succeed in uniting his parents in the past
b) Marty McFly hence was never born later in the future
c) Somehow Marty's love interest (Jennifer?) somehow willed him back into existence (and at the same time gained the memories of what happened between them in the original timeline before Marty decided to use the Delorean)

The Sprint advertisement to pay with your phone was horrendous...

Yep. It should be the strongest argument against piracy there is. Keep stealing shit and they'll just put the commercials within the show itself and ruin everything.

First episode of Fringe I've seen in a long time, I have to say this ep could have been the Season 2 finale if needs be and still would have made near perfect sense. I almost wish this series was pure serial, but those tank in syndication. The bullet removal scene was brutal.

We caught up with this last night. I'm surprised no one has complained about Olivia "real steel" Dunham. I thought after the past 5-6 excellent episodes that was just sloppy and horrible writing for that scene.

I'm a little surprised that you even tried to watch it and knew what the hell was going on.

I agree that was bad. She could have taken over Jones and just stood still. I've tried forget the whole scene.

Agreed, it made me cringe a bit. Kind of reminded me of this...
