So no one is watching this? This show is excellent.

Was King Charles screaming just because or was it because that was poison he drank?

Love this show. I had the same question about the King; the scene made it out like it could go either way. Lucrezia showing the cardinals how to bake was a great scene.

I'm a little behind on it, but for starters it has the disadvantage of being on the same night as Game of Thrones and Mad Men, which are way more popular in this forum and in general. Plus, the night has alot of stuff in general.

The torture scenes in this one were pretty intense.

I am enjoying this show (even more so than last season), but being on the same night as GOT and Mad Men definitely moves it down in the priority of shows I watch.

I timeshift everything so time slots have little relevancy to me. I don't watch Mad Men since I'm 4 seasons behind and I know this will be an unpopular view, but I think I like The Borgias more than Game of Thrones. I guess I like historical dramas a lot.

I'm the same way. Rome, Tudors, this, GoT...love them all. I'm also a big fan of period movies as well. I don't know much about the real story of the Borgias; I'll probably wait till the end of this season to start reading about what really happened.

Time shifting is irrelevant. I was talking about the shows that are alot more popular than The Borgias on Sunday and are more Message board popular. Plus the fact that Sunday night is the busiest night of the week on TV and people here normally watch the more popular shows 1st. I'm sure there are people who click on this thread for shits and giggles and have no idea what this show is or what channel it's on.

I actually saw a ridiculous comment on another board where someone said he doesn't watch The Borgias because it looks like a rip-off of Game of Thrones.

Sure, but there were no posts until 4 days after it aired. Plenty of time to get through the Sunday backlog. But then again, those are the only shows I watch and I spread them out through the week.
