I'm talking about nights where there is way too much on to record and you are having a hard time keeping up with stuff week to week.
I'm assuming for alot of you it's prevented you from watching stuff your interested in because you simply don't have the time or enough tuners to record it.
If your only a casual watcher with 5-10 things you watch, then this question is obviously irrelevant to you. I've allowed the Poll to have multiple picks.
It used to be Thursday, but for me it's now Sunday nights.

It's all about tuners.
In the fall, Sunday and Mondays (and this fall, Thursdays throughout). Because of the NFL. At least with Sunday, it's mostly cablenet offerings so I can either get the repeats or west coast feeds.
In the winter, mid-week. Because of college basketball.
If just talking about shows, definitely Sundays. Mondays used to be a real problem but I don't really watch DWTS anymore and I'll forego HIMYM if there are too many conflicts.
I've trimmed a lot of the fat with not picking up new broadcast shows in the fall.

Sundays by far. Fox, HBO and other shows clog up. I guess that's part of the reason why I got an HR34 recently.

I have 2 HR21's (free upgrade from 2 years ago) and they barely record about 60-70 hours each of HD records.
Sunday has been brutal. All the cable dramas air on Sunday night (Showtime and HBO, AMC and A&E and on occasion TNT) plus the stuff I watch on CBS and ABC and I sometimes have almost 10 hours of material on Sunday nights alone per week.

Don't forget the AMC shows. Good thing about being on the west coast is that I can watch these shows on cable three hours earlier.

Sunday is ridiculous.
60 Minutes, The Amazing Race, Once Upon A Time, Desperate Housewives (want to see how it ends), The Killing, Mad Men, Girls and Veep (it needs to be much better than the pilot or I will delete it).
No other night do I watch more than 2 shows and Friday I watch (or dvr) 1 and Saturday is 0.

Thursday is the only day when the DVR has to try to simultaneously record 3 things (Community, Big Bang, Vampire Diaries), but most of the time at least one is a rerun.

Sunday and Thursday are definitely the worst for me. Friday has actually become a somewhat busy night this year too.
Luckily I have 6 tuners in Windows Media Center. I rarely have something I can't record. I don't know how I managed when I only had two single tuner ReplayTV units.
Now if I could only find the time to watch all the stuff I record.

Monday and Thursday are the only nights I have conflicts I can't resolve. For the most part, cable channels repeat shows throughout the week, so that helps with Sundays. But "Make It or Break It" (go ahead, laugh, but it's a guilty pleasure) airs only once a week, on Monday.

Sunday, even though I don't watch HBO or AMC. The OCD in me wants a Saturday option, though.

Sunday
No other day comes close for me. Game of Thrones, Veep, 60 Minutes, Amazing Race, The Killing and Mad Men are currently running. My other Sunday shows include Breaking Bad, True Blood, Dexter, Homeland and The Walking Dead.
Sometimes I don't even finish watching Sunday shows until Thursday and the Sunday problem is part of the reason why I quit the Simpsons. I also don't watch Sunday network special events like the Grammys anymore because of the Sunday problem.
On Demand now helps a lot. I watched Pan Am last fall only because of On Demand.
The biggest offender of all is CBS putting the 3 hour Survivor finale on Sunday nights every season. This unwelcome intrusion of a Wednesday show on a Sunday usually forces me to reorganize my recordings.

Saturdays. That's the night my neighbor on the left lets his daughter invite her friends to swim in the pool and the same night my neighbors on the right have sex with the lights on. Decisions, decisions...

Sun and Wed are the hardest two for us. We just got the new Directv box that has 5 tuners and even that was full at 9 last night.

Sunday is indeed a clusterfuck, but luckily, the cable shows all replay that same night. That gives me a chance to get things at later times.

Thurs
30 Rock, Parks & Recreation, and Touch
I wait until next Mon or Tues to watch Touch since that show is not a must see.

I guess it would have to be Sunday, but it's not really an issue with dvr and on demand. AMC replays their shows several times all through the night, as does HBO and Showtime. And if it ever became an issue, HBO and Showtime have their shows available on demand the next day.
I don't watch any shows that air on Mondays or Tuesdays at the moment, so I just watch the Sunday shows over the course of 3 days.

That's the key: figuring out which shows are repeated or will be on demand (and how much delay and how many commercials are involved--like my Fox shows on Comcast can't be FF'd and are only there for a few days).
