Couple of laughs out of this one, mostly involving the mayhem that ensues when condoms are taken off. I guess that makes it better than last week which only produced one laugh from me.

I'm in until I see the lone hot one naked.

It seems HBO has only two types of shows. Completely fantastic or just utter shit. This thing definitely falls into the latter category. Dull, un-interesting characters having dull, banal conversations. I can't figure out who this thing is supposed to appeal to. Delete. Delete. Delete.

It's supposed to appeal to women. At least that's my best guess.

I cracked up at the line about the girl hitting the puppy. I didn't think it was as good as last week but I'll probably stick with it.

I laughed out loud when he asked her where she was going in the morning and she deadpanned the line he said to her while having sex.

I gave it two eps but I am out. Obviously I am not their intended market, but I think it is pretty awful. And I am still very bitter about BtD.

Weird. I'm very obviously not a girl, but I thought this episode was hilarious from start to finish. The weird sex-talk, the stuff that gets over the sides of the condoms, the discussion about abortions and how meaningful they are, AIDS, etc. It was all great stuff in my opinion. I had a hard time breathing when she made the date-rape joke during the job interview.

The only thing I don't like about the show is the foreign cousin. She drags things down when she's the focus, but everything else is top notch.

I am definitely dropping this show. Everything about it annoys the hell out of me. Last night's episode was about as dumb as I can take. I agree, the characters and coversations are just boring and very un-interesting. Which pisses me off because they cancel How to Make it in America, which for me captured the whole living in and trying to make it in NYC thing a lot better than this shit.

I guess there are just as many silver spoon entitled people living in NYC as there are hustlers trying to make a dollar.

For me watching the hustlers was a far funner experience but I guess we'll see if this makes it another season.

I thought the Pilot was OK. Just watched the second episode and enjoyed it.

This thing is getting rave reviews nearly across the board from TV critics.

Yeah so far I'm not getting the rave reviews. Hardly any laughs and some pretty fucking annoying characters.

And I don't care what Lena and her co-stars say, it doesn't feel any more real or less cartoonish than Sex and The City did. It's just darker.

I could never sit through more than a few episodes of Sex and the City so I couldn't comment on that comparison. I hated that show and love this one. I also thought How to Make It in America was incredibly boring.

And they cancelled "Bored To Death"?!

I'm enjoying it still. I liked the running line about the stuff coming up the sides. I also thought the doctor did a perfect job.

"Your a dirty little whore, I'm going to send you home to your parents covered in cum."

"Oh don't do that they're going to be so angry"



"From now on, you better ask my permission when you want to cum."


What a hilarious, yet so unsexy sexy scene. It looked like Hannah's "friend" was punching himself in the nuts when he was fake jerking off.

"I'm going to make the continent of Africa on your arm"

I agree that this isn't the greatest show ever made but how can people not find the above scene funny....

that was easily the most awkward/hilarious/realistic sex scene i've ever witnessed

I liked this episode more than the pilot, but some of the writing was a little too on-the-nose, like the doctor in the last scene letting us all know the point of the show.

Ironically, "BTD" would be a much more fitting title for this show!

I feel so sorry for you

I was laughing quite a bit during this episode.

I thought the dirty talk during the opening sex scene was hilarious.

The tanking of the interview was very uncomfortably funny. I think I actually made a cringe face when those words came out of her mouth.

"You throw a great abortion!"

(In response to the virgin confessing) "I don't know what to say...I hit a dog with my car once. I still had my learners permit.

I thought it was a much better episode than the pilot. That lead actress is fearless -- she wrote the episode and the series, and most folks wouldn't write a scene like that for themselves. I'm sticking with it at least for a while. Plus my wife just loves it, so it's not like I have a lot of choice -- it's way better than most of the dreck she usually wants to watch.
