I love how she was struggling to hold back her smile upon learning about the President's health.
at how the President's aide gives the Veep's aides so much crap and treats them like total losers.

Despite my skepticism (born mostly from watching the truly awful, just terrible Girls), I have to say that I've enjoyed both these episodes. Glad to hear that it will be picked up for a second season.

I caught up last night watching episodes 2 and 3 and I Have to admit that while the definitely provides at least 1 LOL moment an episode I'm just loosing interest fast; almost as 'Girls' is becoming really good and solid, 'Veep' is loosing steam at the same rate. The storyline with her daughter really rubbed me the wrong way.

Hilarious. Every week I've been laughing out loud.
Gary always giving her notes about people gets me every time. 'His brother is the drummer for Rage Against the Machine'. I wonder if that final scene was all improv.

That part was awful and a complete waste of time. This show continues to go downhill, IMO.

I think it's getting better.
Announcer: "The reverend Terrance Clark, Church of the Living Christ."
Gary: "He's a baker."
Selina: "Ah, Christ is risen!"

Great episode. I laughed alot in this one.
The show is getting better as the weeks go on.
Loved seeing David Wallace as the horny Veep's husband
Selina: "You got anything to make me feel better?"
Ted: "It's about 7 inches, hangs between my legs. I call him Sargent Ted"
Selina: "Well you can tell Sargent, I would very much like him to drill me in my Oval Office. In fact, I need him to put the finger on my button and cum into my Rose Garden."
I was crying at that whole exchange.
at Mike trying to coach Selina on Ravens football. I LOL'd when she didn't know who Ray Rice was on Meet the Press.

This episode won me over. The part where she was ranting about being the fucking vice president of the united states had me rolling. I'm sure every veep has felt like that.

Last week's episode of Veep was hilarious. I already commented on what I thought worked in last week's thread. It's gaining some momentum.

I really liked last week's Episode 4 as well. Haven't watched this one yet.
Was Ep 4 a fluke?

I laughed more through this one that I have in any others. For 8 episodes I'll watch the rest since I've made it this far.

The show continues to get me laughing. The only problem is that it strives to make you cringe, but I really don't. Not like I do with Curb. Still it's a good way to kill half and hour.

I had my doubts about this show simply based on the Seinfeld curse and any show/movie that deals with government (especially at this high a level) - but I have to say that I'm really enjoying it. JLD is much better than I thought - and I basically like the whole cast.
