This is a tough one.
I thought she was older, maybe because she has had a ton of work done on her face last few years or so.

She's now in a "treatment facility," which of course is what actors do when they're trying to save their careers. She has been recast "temporarily"...but that may wind up to be permanent.

Well I hope she gets the proper help but can’t have her back.
Have they done a tribute for the other actor who died a few months ago Sonya Eddy?

Billy Miller, former ‘The Young and the Restless’ and ‘General Hospital’ star, dead at 43.
Billy Miller, former 'The Young and the Restless' and 'General Hospital' star, dead at 43 | CNNAbsolutely stunned and gutted. He was so talented. He will forever be my favorite Jason. Miller brought so much more life to the character. He was his own man who wanted to have a life with Sam and was not going to be Sonny's stooge. All Burton could do was staring into space and being Carley's lap dog. The article mentioned Miller was battling depression at the time of his death. With him being so young, I wouldn't doubt he may have taken his own life. I hope that's not the case. RIP

Sonny: Billy's mom released a statement that more or less confirmed that it was indeed a suicide. Sad, because I agree with you that he was fun to watch when he was on GH. Given Maurice's own battles with mental health, my guess is the cast didn't know of his struggles (his fans certainly didn't know).

That’s really horrible. So sad.
He was easily my favorite during his time on GH.
One of my favorite people on that show in decades
As for GH I wonder if there is any plan in place in case the show finally gets cut.
The entire Spencer family is pretty much gone from this show and recently they even blew up Luke’s boat The Haunted Star.
Pretty much done with anything Spencer.
Leslie Charleson hasn’t been able to be on the show in well over a year I think.
Is there more then 4 real legacy actors left?

Thought I posted this in here.
Wife and I went to see The Jackel and Stone Cold a couple weeks ago.“Stone Cold & the Jackal” is the collective comedic talent of the duo Steve Burton & Bradford Anderson, stars of ABC’s General Hospital.
They tour as a comedy singing duo. Right now they are on their Christmas Special tour.
Pwrformed some comedy bits mostly about GH and former cast members. All of that was actually really funny.
Did some audience participation with a Mad Libs type of script that involved GH characters. Some pizza jokes about Thanksgiving and poking fun at all the different AJs over the years.
At the End Jason, I mean Steve Burton read their version of Night Before Christmas.
It was fun and a good show for GH fans.

60th anniversary special aired in prime time last week. I think it’s still on Hulu.
It was okay but really not enough clips of the classic characters.
Too much new stuff. Barely a mention of Tony Geary who more then anyone and anything made that show the juggernaut in daytime it became.
There was an announcement at the end of a returning actor.
A couple of characters from a long time ago returned last year for a stint during the Eddie Main storyline.
At least one character from All My Children was on for a stint last year too.

Leslie Charleson, ‘General Hospital’s’ Dr. Monica Quartermaine, dies at 79
By Lisa Respers France, CNN
Updated 10:07 AM EST, Mon January 13, 2025
Leslie Charleson, who played popular character Dr. Monica Quartermaine for almost 50 years on “General Hospital,” has died, the program’s executive producer announced on Sunday.
She was 79.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear friend and colleague, Leslie Charleson. Her enduring legacy has spanned nearly 50 years on General Hospital alone and, just as Monica was the heart of the Quartermaines, Leslie was a beloved matriarch of the entire cast and crew,” “General Hospital” producer Frank Valentini wrote. “I will miss our daily chats, her quick wit and incredible presence on set. On behalf of everyone at General Hospital, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to her loved ones during this difficult time.”

Re: The GENERAL HOSPITAL Discussion Thread
This one really hurts. I was just nine years old when she first started GH, so in some weird way, Charleson feels like family. It sad that all of the major members of the Q family are no longer with us. Edward, Lila, Allen and now Monica. Tracy is the last one left.
I hope the show has the decency to give her a proper sendoff. Her character could go toe to toe with anyone and still come out on top. The many different times she laid into Carly, Sonny, Tracy and many, many others were always so much fun to watch. I'm glad that the show let her, and Jason reconnect and have that special relationship they had the last five years or so. RIP

Re: The GENERAL HOSPITAL Discussion Thread
I watched GH back in the days of the ABC line up of All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital with my Grandma (she skipped Ryan's Hope and Loving). Monica always felt like the one in charge of the hospital, not Alan. And didn't Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) pass not long ago, too?
