Small Firefly reunion, Adam Baldwin to be on Nathan Fillion's 'Castle'

Adam Baldwin is a pretty big deal in the nerdy world of genre television.
The gun-toting Jayne Cobb of Firefly and the equally gun-toting John Casey of Chuck will guest-star in the next episode of Castle, "Headhunters." Baldwin talked about all of these shows when appearing at the Emerald City Comic-Con in Seattle. Keep reading to check out what he said and to watch a preview for next week's Castle episode.
Adam Baldwin's upcoming appearance on the Castle season 4 episode, "Headhunters," has been eagerly awaited by fans -- even before anyone knew about it. Why? The excitement is mostly because the guest role of NYPD Detective Ethan Slaughter marks the first television reunion of Adam Baldwin and Castle star Nathan Fillion since the two appeared together in Firefly.
Firefly reunions are cool.
The relationship of Baldwin's Slaughter and Fillion's Castle may seem somewhat similar to their earlier Firefly characters of Jayne and Mal. Check it out below:

They should do a full-blown reunion on Castle. They did the famous homage in the second season, and since it's impossible to see it too many times:

My daughter will be in heaven. She loves both those guys. It was cool to have Summer Glau on Chuck. They seem to be cheesy but still fun. They should have a full blown reunion. Maybe Marena Bacarin as an old girlfriend, Gina Torres as a hostile detective and Alan Tudyk as the goofy guy he always plays
