I don't know why these chicks woudn't admit they're 'federal agents,' and this has been their "thing" the whole race. They're not impressive and its been annoying me from the start. They smell like TSA to me.

I don't know. Jumping up and down for 1 minute seems alot easier than throwing a bone at a spinning target several feet away. Surprised at how many people chose the target challenge.

at Vanessa falling off the bike over and over. Uhh hello, couldn't she have chosen one that wasn't too tall for her instead of choosing the 1st bike she saw?

I've been rooting for Art and JJ, but they were kind of douchebags in this episode. I was annoyed when they called out Nary and Jamie in front of everyone to stir the pot.

Not surprised it was a non-elimination leg. It seems they have been doing more non-elimination legs the last 2-3 seasons than in the past.

She actually did look at them and said all of them look too tall from me. I'm going to assume that all of the bikes were the same size.

And yes, who wouldn't choose a timed challenge over a skills challenge. Especially when the timed challenge is only for a minute. Plus they were right next to each other?

They were pretty arrogant this episode. How can you say someone doesnt deserve to be there? Seriously, they are completing the same challenges as everyone else.

My only saving grace about them is they jumped the gun and gave away 5000.00 to Mark and Boppers team before they found out they werent even eliminated. I'm still laughing at that one.

Anyone else notice the hillbilly music when that team checked in at the pit stop?

Man that jumping challenge was a joke. We use to do that every day in basketball practice for 10 minutes at a time with a 20lbs weight vest on.

8000 ft but yeah, I'm with you on the ridiculous simplicity of that challenge.

Gorgeous scenery though at Ngorongoro Crater. It's sometimes called the Garden of Eden for its extraordinary amount of large mammals.

how about some speedbumps from past editions. Sit on this block of ice next to the clue box for 5 minutes. Or go to the party bus and sit in a sauna with hot Scandinavian chicks.

ETA: yeah, the jumping up and down was the obvious choice. There should have been no one choosing throwing sticks at moving targets.

Oh man, this whole episode brought back memories of my African safari 9 years ago. Ngorongoro crater was one of our stops. The quick shot of the jackal trotting out into the water towards the flamingos was accurate, as I witnessed this happen when I was there:

As for the race, Vanessa was kind of a mean girl to Rachel, but that's OK, because Vanessa is hot, and Rachel is annoying.

I agree, Border Patrol was a bit douchey this episode, but they are still an impressively performing team.

Also, I liked the name team "Big Baby"

Obviously the clue they received didn't mention that the "challenge" was simply jumping for a minute. If that had been on the clue, certainly no one would have chosen the marksmanship challenge. That's also why Brennan yelled out to Bopper to do "Courtship". I think the clue just said something like "participate in a tribal ritual", and it was sectioned off by a fence, so the others couldn't see that it was simply jumping.

Agreed. Giving the 5000.00 to Mark and Bopper was a very cool thing to do. Other than that, their egos are way too big.

Most of the time they'll show a shot of the actual clue the participants get but I don't think they showed it this episode.

Fav line of the show: Federal Agents - "Look at our landing strip"
