I've never seen an ep of Modern Family, so I have no basis to judge her on other than her awards and accolades. My kids talk about "One Direction" and I know they are a conglomerate of X-Factor leftovers, but I don't know anything else about them either. I think I'll record it and watch it later. Not motivated to stay up for this. Rumors were that Lorne auditioned several ladies over the last few weeks, and Kate McKinnon will be joining the cast tonight...

She has been doing television & commercials for decades, I can't believe everyone thinks its going to be a trainwreck. I'm sure she will use some of the exaggerated language barrier schtick, and it will be very funny, but I believe it's very well calculated. This is the first time I've been interested in watching SNL in years.

Didn't Wiig say that she would never do Gilly again? At least I remember what was supposed to be the final Gilly appearance.

Along with just about everyone else, I never liked Gilly although I did laugh when the books in Moynahan's lap popped up when Vergara talked about her bosom.

She looks kind of like Amy Poehler but the jury is out if she will be that good. How many times did those dudes from One Direction switch sides and places on the stage? Gilly and the Manuel Ortiz show should be dropped. But I guess that's what you have do when you're a boy band that can't dance. Those guys pale in comparison to NSync and Backstreet Boys and oh my god I can't believe I just typed that. |
