Shit, rum and cokes led me astray. Can a mod please flip this to the TV forum?

Am I racist if I say that I found it funny that the first challenge that when it came to the puzzle part of it they had the 2 Asians doing it on both tribes.

Maybe not, but I bet they are both great drivers :-)

That was a lame ep! The only person playing game is Troyzan.

Random thoughts:

Lief isn't the brightest bulb, is he? Trying to go under that obstacle on his stomach was really stupid.

LOL at Tarzan's "poop pants" grossing everyone out.

That was a mess of a tribal council.

Chelsea has a nice ass.

I realized that Troyzan reminds me of Sam Merlotte (True Blood) with facial hair.

I liked this episode. Whenever there's a ball challenge, you can count on Jeff saying something giggle-inducing. You could see Troyzan struggling to contain himself when Jeff announced: "Troyzan's balls haven't moved in ages!" :)

Really dumb to have Lief go first (and his head-first move was dumbness on top of it). If the biggest person goes first, isn't it clear that everyone else on the team will have no problem getting through the sand?

I also laughed at the Jonas-Tarzan dialog: "No hard feelings bro" ... "Hard feelings to you" ... "OK" Amazingly, Tarzan spelled Jonas correctly. The same couldn't be said for Kat (Janous?)

I still like that I can't quite tell where things are going. No alliance feels particularly strong (or committed to each other).

Disagree. Kim's playing. She also has a HII in her pocket (or whatever body part she's hiding it in) and is a central person in two alliances. Sabrina and Chelsea didn't do much game-wise this ep, but I think they're playing as well.

Sam Merlotte isn't exactly clean shaven. I see the resemblance too.

I wish they would have taken the opportunity to 'lose' Tarzan's drawers while boiling them. I could go until finale night without ever seeing him in those tiny blue panties again. I can't even imagine how horrifying it must be in person.

Sorry, you're right. Troyzan has the full beard going though...more than Sam usually has.

May I never have to use the line, "That's not poop ... that's just dirt", in real life :yack:

The girls weren't buying it though: "If it's dirt, why is it always it the place poop would be?" I didn't quite buy it either. If it's dirt from sitting on the ground, wouldn't that show up more in the cheek area instead of the crack?

It's not entirely clear, but the women on the strong tribe have the advantage. It's pretty shrewd to get rid of a guy in tonight's round. That nearly ensures that they can either stick to their tribe OR still go for an all-girl's alliance. They could do the same thing for the next two weeks (Tarzan and Leif) and still keep both the girl's and current alliance strong.

That would certainly be the smart play from those girls. Jay, Mike, and Troyzan could even be talked into it since Lief voted for Mike and Tarzan is just plain annoying. But outside of Kim and Sabrina, I don't trust anyone in this season to do the smart thing.

Ponderosa will be fun if Tarzan and Jonas are the first two there.

I think it's clear with the edit that either Kim or Troyzan will win. It seems like they've been given screen time every episode even when Colton was dominating the show. And I think that might have the third time they've shown Troyzan say something about this being his island.

Yeah, but did you see how he wrote it? It looked like it was written by a 5 year old.

Unpredictable seasons like this tend never to have the Kim or Troyzan type winners. I am thinking we get someone people dismiss as a possible winner like Kat,Jay,Chelsea or Christina. Tarzan,Alicia and Leif are the only 3 I would rule out completely.

Re: Survivor: One World -- "The Beauty in a Merge" -- 3/28/12

Disappointing not to get rid of Alicia, and even worse if she gets back into the women's group. But from the preview
Spoiler:
it looks like the girls might be breaking up Salami, which would make sense given the strength of the men
.

Bye bye, Colton-and-Alicia-enabler . He seemed like a pretty decent guy, but could have played the game a lot better.

I love how arbitrary all their decisions are. Not even Jay - the guy who suggested Jonas in the first place - could explain why it made sense to get rid of him over Tarzan. And when Chelsea questioned if that was the smartest move, she ran right into the usual wall of deaf ears. I guess instead of Jonas' fish and coconut filling their pots for the next few days, they have Tarzan's soiled underwear to look forward to instead. That makes sense.

For Tarzan to poop on!

Jonas could have stood up to Colton at any time and the game might be different. Instead, he went out looking even weaker for trying to throw Mike under the bus. And WHY are these women interrupting the men arguing at tribal? Let them pick each other off, ladies. You're out there for 40 days if all goes well, which is enough for two periods. You'll get your chance.

Side note: Why was there champagne, crackers and fruit on top of pizza and beer? It seems like they have more food every year and now only have to outplay and outwit. There's no real outlasting if they're always fed.

The question is whether Kim quietly asserts leadership. She has a very clear view that is a Venn digram
1) Girl alliance
2) Strong tribe alliance
3) The intersection of those two, the leaders
4) The "to go" list

If she has her way, she will clear out (4), and then the hangers-on in (1) and (2).

Although this wasn't his best example, Tarzan actually has nice stylized printing.
(Which I thought was a little unusual for a doctor/surgeon??)

I agree, Colton's fellow tribe member's finally showed a bit of backbone this episode. Where as before, they let Colton have his way with them. (...probably the edit...)

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe he can shift into a dog and race around the camp. :)

Kim explained it at Tribal Council. Everyone likes Jonas. If he reaches the end, he is a threat to win. No one likes Tarzan. He is abrasive and I think irrational. He is Philip but x100 and the perfect goat to bring to finals if possible.
