Just noticed that this show has some main-ish characters with the same name as main-ish characters on other current shows:

Carl (Walking Dead)
Monica (House of Lies)
Karen (Californication)
Deb (Dexter)

Only noticed it when me and a co-worker were having a discussion about a few shows and got confused if we were talking about Shameless or the others shows.

What was it Kevin said about the baby? "Maybe we're just looking at him upside down?"

As for Monica, the actress is definitely playing younger than her age. Liam is about 2, so everything would have been in working order not too long ago.

After watching the first season I watched the UK version and assumed Frank was much younger on that show, only to find out that actor is in his 50s. He definitely looks a lot younger than really is.
