Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Ashley Greene ("The Twilight Saga" Films) and Darren Pettie ("Mad Men") Guest Star

"1964" - Life has changed on a dime for the crew of Pan Am. Since President Kennedy's assassination and as New Year's Eve approaches for the start of 1964, everyone's lives are hurtling towards new starts: Colette is caught up in a whirlwind courtship with a foreign prince, and Dean is still kicking himself over losing her; Amanda and Ted's wedding plans are racing forward, thrilling his family, but making him more nervous by the day; Kate's spy supervisor, Richard, is shot and she tries to figure out whether he or someone else is a double agent -- He warns her that the first person to ask her how he is doing will be the double agent, but the first person who does is the one person she never imagined; and Amanda makes Laura a startling offer. Meanwhile, Broyles puts Maggie in a life-threatening position, which sparks a major attraction to him -- Laura forges on, still loving the man she can't have, and Dean is put on trial for the decisions he made during the Haiti landing.

This got cancelled? Or was it always conceived as one season?

Definitely cancelled, huh? I guess if ABC cared about the show they would have aired the episodes in order.

Airing episode 7 last week as episode 13 was so fucking stupid. Made no sense at all.

Now we'll never know if She was really pregnant or just saying that to get married.

Re: Pan Am -- Series Finale -- "1964" -- 2/19/12

We just watched this show over the weekend (Friday-Sunday). We enjoyed it much more than, say, Once Upon a Time (a show we gave up to record/watch this). Laura was the obvious hottie, but the show was full of attractive people, including Collette. What's more, there was a minor amount of conflict that was handled relatively maturely and without the people involved being complete douches. It wasn't too heavy, but it was a nice espionage romance with attractive decent characters who didn't give off the vibe of being 16-24.

All in all not a bad ending to the series. Colette -- get another job! ASAP.

I was hoping for a cliffhanger ending, like the plane going down.

Pan Am co-star Karine Vanasse is set to co-star in a new ABC drama project. The Quebec-born actress has been cast in the drama pilot Scruples. Executive produced by Tony Krantz and Natalie Portman, the project is based on the novel by Judith Krantz and centers on rich and powerful clothing designer Billy Winthrop in a world of sex, revenge and scandal. Vanasse will play Valentine, a talented aspiring fashion designer who recently arrived in New York from Paris. The casting is in second position to Pan Am, which is not expected to return next season.

Glad she has another job but I'm not sure a show based on a Judith Krantz novel appeals to me very much. And I had no idea she's from Quebec -- her accent sounds very France French. (FYI, I live in Montreal.)

I was thinking she's either just saying or went out and got herself preggers. I really loved this and sorry to see it treated the way ABC did. I'm assuming they switched episode order cause they felt the nude photo gallery ep was stronger and attract more viewers. After that it was probably game over. I'd love to get this on bluray but I'm expecting we'll just see a DVD release if that.
