Yeah the shift to Danson has been excellent. I honestly could care less about Shue's character even though I like her as an actress.

Could not disagree more. Danson was the spark this show desperately needed. Especially after the super dreary Fishburne seasons.

I agree with the above post about Russell's family. We get introduced to his family (well, we already met his son) just to have tragedy hit them. Didn't like that. Also was not picturing gilpin as his wife. Didn't fit my mental image.
