Synopsis:

Spoiler:
"The St. Valentine's Day Maxssacre" - The road to romance is rocky for the gang, as Penny has a new boyfriend she wants to dump; Dave is afraid his new girlfriend is about to dump him; Alex, an expert on all things Valentine's, goes looking for a party in the sketchy part of town; and Brad's hopes for a perfect night out for Jane are dashed when a dental appointment goes terribly wrong. But they don't have anything on Max, who picks up a couple with his limo only to find that one of the passengers is Grant (guest star James Wolk), the boyfriend he broke up with a year ago -- on Valentine's Day -- on "Happy Endings," WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 8 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

I love what they're doing with Cuthbert's character. Kinda ditzy, unless she's really into something. More optimistic, than childish. Reeling off the history of Valentine's Day was great leading to why the heart has become the symbol.

And Wayan's entrance into the dentist office was fantastic.

Love how the dialog flows on this show...

Waynan's drooling and how he listed all the Friends characters in the limo had me rolling!

I loved this episode but felt really bad for Dave. Penny totally owed him a round of angry apology sex.

Loved this episode

at Brad's entrance into the dentist office and then him drooling and being so high.

at Jane hating surprises. The camcorder footage of her macing everyone was hilarious. Along with her punching Brad.

at Dave missing out on a three-some. Dumb shit.

Very funny episode and I also liked how ditzy Alex and her getting arrested for being a whore.

Great episode. Loved the Friends references, since many critics have said the same thing.

I liked that too. A little break in the 4th wall. There was another small instance of that that I thought was great:

Penny: He broke up with me because I said "ah-mah-zing". I've barely said it this season.
Dave: This season? You mean winter?
Penny: Yeah, it's more of a summer thing

Loved how they treated Max and his new guy, like a non-issue.

Well didn't that guy show up last season? The actor sure looked familiar.

That actor was the star of the critically-acclaimed Fox series Lone Star from the 2010-11 season. It bombed massively in the ratings and was cancelled after just two episodes, making it the first casualty from that TV season.

Never heard of that show until you mentioned it. So I definitely don't remembber him from there.

Apparently not. He only has credits for this season, not last.
