Unbelievable! How this show just keeps improving week after week is amazing.
The dialogue across the episode was fantastic. How Walton Goggins hasn't swept every award is beyond me. The way he inhabits a character is absolutely amazing. His portrayals of Shane Vendrell and Boyd Crowder are wonders to behold. It's like he's not even acting; he just "is" them.
There are were no wasted scenes, all interaction was solid-great, and it just leaves you anticipating next week even more than you already were. Absolutely loved how Raylan turned Fogel and his lackey into opponents, even if it wasn't the desired outcome. And the ending with Quarles asking Raylan how fast he thinks the bullets will be coming back at him and Raylan snapping a cellphone pic... just can't wait to see the payoff!

I think this was my favorite episode of the entire series thus far. Raylan had like 2 minutes of screen time for the first half hour but it didn't even matter. Everyone was killing it!

Simply brilliant. Not just brilliant, but flawless in execution. That closing scene with the bullet on the chest and the snapped picture with Quarles smiling for the cellphone picture was awesome.

I swear that was one of the most tense moments I've ever seen. Fucking awesome.

Great episode.
The 2 scenes that really stood out to me was Boyd, Devil and Arlo taking back the bar. Some really crisp dialogue there and loved how the tables turned multiple times. at the bar owner's severance package.
Loved the confrontation with Raylan, Fogle and his junkie.
at Fogle and the junkie shooting each other.
I also enjoyed Raylan beating the shit out of Duffy and getting introduced to Quarles.
I don't know what to make of Limehouse yet. I am liking that there are 3 villains to follow this season with him, Boyd and Quarles. It's just a jam packed season with an assortment of interesting characters.

Love the show, but they need to break the habit of introducing villains by giving us a scene showing us just how ruthless they are.

Someone's a Breaking Bad fan. From Alan Sepinwall's blog:
Eric Ladin's character, by the way, is named Wally Beckett, and when I heard that name, I immediately thought of Moira Walley-Beckett, a writer on "Breaking Bad" and "Pan Am." Wasn't sure if it was an in-joke until Fogel used the phrase "break bad" in conversation with Raylan.

I liked how most of the time raylan is pretty easy going, even when he has to shoot someone. But that scene above, he really did a good job of showing anger, to the point it seemed like he was almost shaking he was so pissed.

Clearly Boyd = Omar.
Does some ruthless stuff, has his own code and goes after bad guys and questionable people. Good street level tactics in terms of planning things out and seeing the angles. He even has a decent but on/off relationship with someone in authority
The only thing missing is a shotgun; though if he pulls out the rocket launcher again....
