Holy crap! We've only been through half of the season? I feel like the season finale should already be around the corner.

Yeah, it does seem like there's been a lot of story for only eleven episodes.

I can't remember if Emma knows Mary Margaret (snow white) is her mother or not.

Henry did tell her that story and she told it to Mary Margaret, but they both laughed it off.

Very interesting episode. Did not expect the backstory of Sidney to be a Genie. I did enjoy how it was a tale of betrayal and murder instigated by the Evil Queen. at the Genie's wish to be with her forever and he ended up being the talking mirror.

Was anyone a little annoyed by the scene with Emma and Sidney tailing Regina into the forest? Lone road, 2 cars and one being a Sheriff's car. Talk about blatantly obvious tail. I know Sidney was playing Emma all along, but if that was a real tail, there is no way Regina would not have noticed it.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw eleven of twenty two.

I feel this type of story really should be designed for one full season, not every story needs to go on for season after season. If eleven episodes in feels like it is coming close to an end then it may mean it needs to do that. I am enjoying it. Just not sure what they would do with a season two, three etc...

Thought the same thing, way too obvious.

Yeah, Emma is a pisspoor sheriff. I get she was a bounty hunter by trade but how did she ever catch anyone if she's that blatantly obvious when tailing someone?

Did Henry always keep the book under lock and key? That bit with the writer seemed awkward to me (although the reveal wasn't remotely surprising).

I like the commercial for next episode.

Rumplestilskin is The Beast?

That's definitely a new twist on the story.

My PVR cut off the last minute or so (just as they meet at the diner). Can someone tell me what they said? And WhyTF do ABC's shows always overrun their effing time slots?

Wasn't the whole point that she DID know she was being tailed as Sidney was in on the whole conspiracy to trick Emma into thinking he was actually helping her stop Regina? So in that respect, she knew everything via Sidney spying on Emma.

The thing that bothered me was Emma has stated that she can tell if somebody's lying, why couldn't she tell the he was lying the whole time? It's not like he changed his mind and went back to Regina's side. He was playing her the whole time.

Dont get it.

She doesn't even know how to properly tail someone. I think she has no idea how to tell someone is lying either.

The writers have made a point of telling us this. This is why she stayed with Henry. Why she doesn't trust Regina. She asked her if she loves him. She could tell Regina was lying so she stayed. Why cant she tell a trusted member of Regina's inner circle was lying from the get go. Not just one lie either. Seems to me he was lying about everything.

I just dont understand.

Even the smartest of us can get fooled. Regina and Sidney pulled a good con.

I didn't really like Richard Schiff as the King, but otherwise another solid ep. I liked the backstory of the man in the mirror. Lana Parrilla looks amazing on this show.

This episode scored a 3.4 in the ratings.

Maybe there is an issue with your DVR internal clock....the ABC shows I record, I never need padding. I just do the straight hour.

Anyway, Sidney basically just tells Emma he has her back and they toast their partnership. The next scene is Sidney sitting with Regina discussing his acting job, his idea to cut the brakes, he'll always be hers, little leg squeeze to keep him thinking she is "interested" in him, and him looking completely under her control. I think that was about it.

I feel the same way. It seems like this show has been on forever. Not that that's a bad thing. Still enjoying it as much as I did at the beginning.
