Synopsis:

Spoiler:
An Alzheimer's patient visits Princeton Plainsboro as part of a hospital sanctioned drug trial, but when he inexplicably suffers from violent vomiting and an increasingly explosive temper, the team begins to unravel a deeper marriage conflict between the patient and his dutiful wife. Meanwhile, House and Foreman butt heads, and Wilson treats a patient who claims to be in a chaste marriage in the all-new "Better Half" episode of HOUSE airing Monday, Jan. 23 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (HOU-809) (TV-14 D, L, V)

Episode 9 of 22-24 (no final episode count yet)

FYI, over the winter break it was reported at the TCA's that FOX has yet to decide whether or not this is the final season.

This show took such a long break, I've kind of lost interest. Got bored of this episode half way through

Was it my imagination, or is Jim Carrey's daughter (got a golden ticket on American Idol in Sunday's episode) also going to be on the next episode of House?

I haven't watched a new episode of House since he was just hooked up with Cuddy.

I know Cuddy is gone, where was Taub and Thirteen? Didn't care for the new girls.

Why was he wearing an ankle monitor?

Good to see the old relationship between House and Wilson was still intact.

Wow, your really out of the loop.

House went to prison at the start of this season for crashing a car into Cuddy's house and leaving the scene. It happened in last season's finale. That's why he's wearing the ankle monitor because he's on probation. He manged to get his job back because Foreman needed him (Foreman is the new Dean of medicine)

He met Dr. Adams in prison and House hired her shortly after his release. Park was assigned to him by Foreman. Taub and Chase left medicine after last season's finale, but were re-hired this season once House got funding for the team. They had budget cuts after Cuddy left and fired everyone.

Lisa Edelstein (Cuddy) left after last season because her contract expired and they couldn't come to terms on a new deal. FOX actually forced NBC-U to make budget cuts on this season.

He wasn't trying to kill Cuddy, it was specifically mentioned in the season opener that everyone was in another room. No way he gets out of prison after 1 year for attempted murder.

My bad. I re-read David Shore's comments about it and he said it was more about him lashing out at her.

Predictable episode as usual, but some funny stuff.

at House referring to Foreman as "Dr. Blackenschmirtz"

at Park when said she tapped over 30 guys.

A little surprised that Foreman was the one who figured out the diagnosis this week. Surprised that he actually signed off on the removal of House's ankle monitor.

It wasn't explained, but I'm guessing Taub was MIA because he was taking care of his kids.

Actually, they mentioned that one of Taub's daughters was sick at the start of the episode, leading House to quip: "Isn't that why he has a backup?"

The Foreman thing kinda caught me off guard as well. I just said to myself "He just Housed!" I guess it's time that Foreman finally got one on House, especially considering he's the boss now.

It was weird to see Foreman so actively involved in a random case.

I know I am in the minority (no pun intended) but I have always liked the Foreman character and it was great to see him get that revelation like House always does at the end to solve the case. Usually it's Foreman getting knocked off his horse by House. Loved the way they showed their respect for each other at the end.

I'd like to see an episode that was only clinic duty. That would be fun.

I like that this show has shown that pretty much all the main characters, except for House and Wilson are replaceable.

At the start of the episode they mention that Taub had to watch one of his kids or something, then House mentions he didn't give him time off, then Foreman mentions that he did.
