Debbie: "It's hard for me to be the same room with someone who is constantly aroused. "

at Liam, the masturbating baby.

Good stuff tonight.

Could not believe that Frank wasn't a drunk and shit faced asshole in this episode. He actually was sort of a nice guy. The whole Dottie storyline kind of came out of nowhere. I had no frame of reference on who she was other than her dying of a heart problem. at Molly Price in the thong. Would have never guessed that she would do a scene like that.

at Frank when he was fixing the toilet.

Amy Smart's character is such a whore. Don't get me wrong, I think she's smoking hot and I like her around with Fiona. But, I'm beginning to wonder what's the point of her character other than being a floozy.

Wouldn't call Frank a nice guy. He's in it to try to get his hands on her money.

And the scene with his young son shows his assholeness is still in full effect.

The way they shot that, I assume it was a body double.

Frank renting out a room to a pregnant Chinese woman Felt bad for Fiona who couldn't find a bed to sleep in. Felt kind of bad for Lip too -- curious to see how he'll handle things with the biker dude.

Did Lip get a deal on pants that are like a foot too long? The rolled cuffs are starting to look a little weird.

On a 2nd thought, it probably was a body double since you didn't see her face. Then you saw her face once she saw Frank was a peeping tom.

Did they explain how Frank thinks he can make money off of being nice to Dottie? Keep cashing her checks when she dies? Or is he hoping she doesn't die and wants to move on with her since Sheila is close to finding out the truth about him, as she ventures further to the bar?

Thos.

I'm guessing he will try and marry her before she dies.

I'm also guessing that Frank will

Thinking about starting this one up.

Does anyone regret investing their time in this show?

Thanks in advance.

Not at all. Very fun show with very quirky characters. If you haven't watched this show yet, I would go back to season 1 and not start with episode 3 of this season. The character back story is important to this show and it is pretty serialized.

IMO, the show started off uneven, but eventually found its footing about midway through season 1. Part of it I think is that it simply takes a while for the audience to adapt to the Gallagher clan and pace of the show. Season 2 is off to a good start. It may not make many annual "best of" lists, but it's entertaining. No regrets on my part.

Not at all. A great show with interesting characters and situations. Really charming and irreverent.

I always start from the beginning, just didn't want to create a thread and wanted to ask the ones who have stuck with it.

Thanks for all the advice and will start on this asap while I record this season.

This show can be pretty dark with it's humor but I think that's a little too messed up, even for Frank.

Actually I had the same thought when she was explaining the beeper to him, especially since they already planted the seeds that she is super paranoid when it comes to the sound.

I really liked this episode - and I liked how it pretty much set up the storylines for Frank, Lip and Ian. It's gonna be a riot if they ever get Butterface (sorry couldn't remember her character's real name) and Joan Cusack ever get a couple of scenes together...

Personally, I think the show is fantastic, but it is sort of an aquired taste due to how dark and black it can get at times. But it's one of the few shows that I find myself actually looking forward too, and even rewatching previous episodes before new ones air.

Thanks for the recommendation, fellas.

I am 7 eps in and really enjoying it. My only complaint is Frank. The show nosedives whenever he is on screen. Like mentioned, there are some really awesome characters (Fiona, Lip, Kevin, etc...).

I don't feel that the show nosedives with Frank, but I do agree that his scenes are my least favorite. That's saying something about this show when I think Macy is the weak link in the cast!

This was another stellar episode and, for once, I don't mind where they are going with Frank if they continue with this storyline.

Really happy to see Aunt Ginger again. Poor Debbie. I feel sorry for her.
