I won't say one has more talent than the other but I personally enjoy Keenan a lot more, he's just generally funnier to me. Outside of Pharaoh's few impressions, Pharaoh just feels like a token black guy, while Keenan feels like a solid cast member with a lot more to offer.

I didn't care for Thompson for his first few seasons, but he's really grown on me over the years.
The Jay Pharoah sketch was kind of disturbing, they're actually acknowledging the fact that all he can do is a couple of impressions. That doesn't bode well for his future on the show.

Enjoyed the Harry Potter and the Ricky Gervais skits.

The Bus

For what it's worth, she was on The Jonathan Ross Show and was, well, not impressive. I think there's a lot of studio work in her voice.

And this coming from someone who would put "Video Games" in a Top x Songs of the Year list.

Speaking of Keenan, what happened to the "Whats Up With That?" sketch? A favorite in the household.

I have never heard of Lana del Ray and her performance didn't make me want to bother trying.

He very well could be a bigger star when he leaves SNL. He may not be much of a sketch writer and with 2 black guys on staff it just might be easier for the writers to write for Keenan.

Same thing happens with female cast members. Is Abbey Elliott ever more then a bit player in any of the sketches?

The Jay Pharoah sketch was a victim of bad writing. It should've been that Jay Pharoah has a talk show but doesn't know anything about white culture, he tries to hide it by being funny and doing impressions but it just gets more and more awkward.

I think Jay Pharoah was brought on to do Obama when Fred Armisen leaves the show. Unfortunately Armisen is one of those cast members that doesn't realize they've been on the show too long.

I only caught a couple minutes but it happened to be during the Potter sketch.

Has anyone in Here ever seen How the West Was Was Won. They needed to film the actors looking off at odd angles because it was filmed in cinarama so that when it was shown in a cinerama theater they appeared to be looking at each other.

This show looked like that except not the cinerama part.
Everybody just looked like they were looking away from who they were talking to and they weren't trying to hide it. Guess they can't put the cUe cards any closer.

Except my teen liked the ep and has vowed to stay up till 1 every Saturday from here on out.
