Synopsis:

Meanwhile, Percy (Xander Berkeley) gets the upper hand on Amanda (Melinda Clarke) and threatens to level Division unless she releases him. Lyndsy Fonseca and Aaron Stanford also star. Steven A. Adelson directed the episode written by Andrew Colville (#212).

Episode 12 of 23

Besides Fringe, this is another show that is struggling in the ratings and doesn't really get much love here.

Re: Nikita -- "Sanctuary" -- 1/13/12

The 1st 3/4 of this episode was a little slow and more plot and dialogue driven, but man that last sequence was fucking badass

One of the things that I thought was really cool about this episode was learning more about the dysfuncational relationship that Amanda and Percy have. at Percy being a total ass to her and putting her into place after saying that she's not capable of loving anyone. I actually think that hurt her feelings even though she doesn't seem to have any.

The reveal at the end with Roan sending his goons to take over Oversight and blackmail Amanda to releasing Percy was brilliant. A little surprised to see that Roan was never loyal to her.

If I had to nit pick about anything, the whole interrogation of Sean seemed rather whimpy. They sure got him to switch sides pretty easily.

I loved it when she broke down for a bit then got on the phone scene. It was well acted by Melinda.

Sean is a navy seal, but he was turned to the other side by having two attractive women say 'please? pretty please?' over and over.

Perhaps I missed it, but how did Alex know that there would be a sniper on the beach? Was the it a set-up because she knew she was being tailed by Sean?

Anyway, another great episode. Loved every scene with Amanda, and I'm digging the two Guardians who are just laying waste to everything in their path.

I think Alex saw him when she went out to shop or at least I believe thats what happened. Overall, a good episode. Now we need Michael, Nikita, Alex, Owen and Sean saving Seans mother from the Guardians with Berchoff on tech. That would be a cool episode.

That was a good episode.

Is it just me? I noticed that Alex has more make up on this season than season 1. She's still hot but prefer the more natural look.

I think they're trying to age Alex up. In the first season she was supposed to be a troubled teen. And I think in the storyline, we're only a year or so away from that

Last season Nikita said that Alex was 19. At most she's only aged 1 year since last season, but I have noticed they are caking on more makeup on Lyndsy Fonseca.

They are putting enough rouge on her, to make her look like a 19th century doxy. I expect Jack the Ripper to start chasing her soon.
