And Half and hour is perfect for the show. I really enjoyed it but I found myself becoming bored usually with 15 minutes still left. I wonder if it will be sandwiched between TWD and TD, or air after TD...

Pleasantly surprised it's getting a second season but at 30 minutes wouldn't it just be all podcast?

I ended up really liking the show. Looking forward to more. I wonder if they either didn't have enough interesting things for the guys to do (thought they really stretched with stuff like the commercial) or they didn't have enough legit stuff people wanted to trade. Or maybe both.

Agreed. I liked a lot of the interaction between the guys, but some of the activities they did definitely felt forced. I will tune in for another season. And I'll probably check out Talking Dead this time around too.

Cool I wasn't sure about it but it really grew on me for some reason. Looking forward to it. I think it will be better in the 30 minute segments. They just may run them back to back though like some others do.

Just heard about the renewal. Glad they are cutting to 1/2 an hour because the quality would probably take a hit if they went from 6 to 16 full hour eps.

That said, a lot is going to depend on what gets cut. Personally the "podcast" segments are the highlight for me, but I don't know how everyone else or more importantly the producers feel about it. I could see them saying "let's make it more like Pawn Stars" and keeping just the sales and fake store antics. Also, they might want to cut down on the podcast segments depending on how difficult it is to work things out with Kevin's schedule and travel.

On the other hand they could have half a brain, realize it's the best part of the show and maybe cut down on the fake store antics and keep it a bit more real. Or they could just keep it as it is.

I say cut out the random activities. Zombi makeup sales angle, tattoo bets, selling at the flea market, etc.

Better yet, a smoking hot girl who knows next to nothing about comics. One one hand, comic geeks will bang their heads into walls when she says Batman got his powers from a mutant bat. On the otherhand, it will be hilarious to hear her ideas.

I suspect that the podcast segments aren't too difficult to do, they're most likely all filmed in a single afternoon.

Why cut anything? Each episode doesn't need to follow a formula. One episode could be all in store stuff, another could be road trip flea market. The only constant should be the podcast book ending the show.

If anything HAS to be cut, I will agree with resinrats though. The extraneous activities (I'll add in the hockey game), are the weakest.
