Hysterical. One of their best.

Here's my list of the best jokers:

1. Joe
2. Murr
3. Sal
4. Q

Seeing as 95 percent of the shows on Tru TV are staged, scripted, or complete fiction, I haven't bothered to check it out at all.

I highly doubt it. But still, I may check it out soon.

It has to be real. What dentist wouldn't let a bunch of comedians come into their office and mess with their patients' mouths?

The best damn dentist in town! Practical joke shows are too risky these days to make, so I'm sure most of the show is completely bogus for entertainment's sake.

I can't believe with all we know about reality shows, people still insist there are such a thing as genuine reality shows.

Is anyone still watching this show? I've been DVR'ing them & watch a few eps every day. It's really fkn funny, reminds me The Jamie Kennedy Experiment from around 10 yrs ago which I also liked. If this show is staged I'd be surprised.

I've been watching the show since there were just six episodes that were run in heavy rotation and now there are over 100. The guys and their camaraderie feels very genuine and I think that is why the show works. I don't think the show is fake in any way, though I'm sure some of the bystanders are aware that something is up and sort of play along.

On the other hand, there's "The Carbonaro Effect", the "Reality/Magic" show that Spike sometimes pairs with "Jokers": I'd like to think this one's "real", but I'm just not buying it.

The show is still ongoing but there will be a change in the coming season.

On New Year’s Day Joe Gatto announced on his Instagram that he has left the show.
Looks like he is getting a divorce and he is in the midst of a months long comedy tour.

I just saw this news today and it’s a blow.
Don’t know that I’ve ever seen 4 guys in comedy that play off each other as well as these guys do.

Im wondering how the show will work with only three guys but I did see that they will be having surprise celebrity guests to fill in.

Ive really grown to love this show after finally giving it a chance.

season 10 starts on April 2nd.

Yeah I had seen that too. I believe Joe was the lead editor or at least heavily involved in the process. So it'll likely be a little different production-wise.

Part of me wonders if this is a temporary choice. His divorce sounds pretty messy, I'm thinking this is a strategic move for custody purposes. Freeing up his schedule to get joint custody. Because the amount of time he would be on set shooting would probably be a hindrance to a judge. Maybe once it gets sorted he could rejoin?

I still love the show so this is a bummer.

This is really disappointing as I love these guys & their show. Joe is probably my favorite but losing any of them would equally suck. I wonder what's really going on here as I can't imagine Joe would leave the show over a divorce.

He has also been removed from their Troupe The Tenderloins. It’s just the three of them there too.

There are theories out there but it’s mostly speculation and Tin foil hat stuff.

Btw the new season or the remainder of 9, not sure what they’re calling it will start in the summer.

Thete is a special episode on April 2 after the Final Four.
Guesting is Eric Andre.

Damn, so I read that he was super creepy to the young girls that worked for the show as assistants, etc and is being sued for sexual harassment by multiple women, which is why HBO MAX pulled many of the episodes of Joe being creepy. Hope it isn't true.

Any info on which eps are pulled?

Anyway he posted in his announcement that his divorce is amicable.
He posted a photo of him with his oldest and his wife st an Imagine Dragons concert.
He did turn off commentary.

Q talked about it a bit on the TESD podcast in early January when it went down. He said he didn't know much more than anyone else other than what Joe tweeted. He talked a lot about it without really saying anything. It definitely felt like he'd been coached on the right things to say and how to say them. I'm sure Sal & Murr got the same coaching.

He also seemed to say in so many words it was hard to get some of his own ideas on the show, so he was happy and excited to finally have some of that freedom.

I don't really know what to believe at this point. I feel like I have to accept Joe's reasoning until actual evidence comes out to contradict him. It sucks that he's gone for now.

I think all the episodes that got yanked involved Joe doing something that “could” be considered sexual. The massage chair was one of them I believe.

whotony 02-16-22 11:10 AM

Re: Impractical Jokers - Thursdays 10PM on truTV

That’s the weird thing about these eps.

I don’t remember what the ep with them getting massages was that might have it removed but there is one other with them getting massages that is still there and it gets tpreally weird with him in that one too.

There are eps with the other guys that get a little hinky also.

In These eps that are deleted that has Joe doing “questionable” things, the other Jokers had him do the things.
The other Jokers choose the punishment. The massage chair and the stone wall costume are punishments, Joe didn’t pick those activities.

I read a thread on Reddit that was a month before Joe announced his retirement from the show asking why these eps were missing.

Something is fishy about all this.
