Howard Stern - new judge on America's Got Talent

I've never watched this show, but I'll be watching now. This will not affect the Sirius show as AGT is moving from CA to NY to accommodate him.

They should just put all of Howard Stern's show on: Bababooey, Fred, Robin, heck even bring back Jackie!

Ugh, should make his radio show even worse. Nothing but talk of AGT.

So the official thread and my post 90 minutes ago aren't good enough?

I've never watched AGT, I will now watch every episode. He's gonna be great on the show, it'll allow him to show off his judging talents.

I'm sure there are many Stern fans like myself that don't watch America's Got Talent, but I'm sorry if I offended you.

I don't watch it either but I did know there was probably a thread on it. And there was.

Why would a Howard Stern fan that has never watched America's Got Talent ever click on that thread? You can ask a mod to delete this thread if you're that bothered.

I've never watched AGT before. Curious to check out Stern though.

Ah, so he was lying the whole time he was saying there were no negotiations going on.

Re: Howard Stern - new judge on America's Got Talent

I think he'll fit in perfectly with Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne, since they have been friends for a long time now. Is there a fourth judge?

It will be interesting to see the interaction between him and the host (can't think of his name). He's always talking shit about him and Mariah Carey.

edit: Nick Cannon

Granted I would have found out from his radio show, but otherwise I would have never seen your post since I don't watch this show. But I will now.

I don't remember him ever saying there were no negotiations. I just remember him denying taking the job. Sounds like Sharon may be gone, though, since she wants to keep doing The Talk and that's based in LA.

I'm really curious how this will work. Don't they travel around the country to different cities finding the talent? How will that work with his show? My only concern is that he'll start half-assing the radio show. But if for some reason that happens, maybe we'll get more of Richard and Sal. They are the best part of the show, now.

I don't give a rats ass either way. But to address your point, a Howard listener like us would already know. The America's Got Talent viewers probably would not.

Well he has off Wednesday-Sunday, so maybe they'll do the travel dates then?

Yeah, I guess they could do that. Or they spread out of their vacations a little during the summer, so they aren't taking weeks off at a time. Maybe a week here and a week there.

He's been half-assing the show for a while now. He went from 5 days a week, down to 4 and now...most of the time he only does 3 days a week and he bitches when he does actually work on Thursdays. I'm still a huge fan of the show and Howard in general, but I do think that the show was better in the past, so I actually enjoy listening to the Stern Show Shuffle, Mastertape Theater and This Date in Howard History, so I really don't mind the fact that he only does 3 shows a week. That's the deal he negotiated. More power to him. I hate all the the AGT and Idol talk though so I'm sure this will just mean more AGT talk on the show. But whatever...I'll deal with it.

I've honestly never watched even one second of AGT, but I'll definitely start watching now. I don't know how long I'll continue to watch, but I'll definitely check it out simply because Howard is a judge.

I might check it out now. I remember when ABC stole his idea for that "Hot or Not" show (can't remember what it was called) - although that lasted all of 4 episodes.
