I believe he's had a kid or two since it was last on the air.

Should be Freak Factor...that mom/son duo is indeed very creepy.

I saw someone on another board describe the mom/son duo as the grossest thing ever on Fear Factor.

I'm glad to see this back on. I loved the original and I'm a big fan of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

I've gotta start listening to his podcast, my brother is always talking about it. I've recently become obsessed with Carolla's podcast, and I think Rogan sort of has the same outlook on the world.

At any rate, this is the only reality show that I ever enjoyed from time to time. Certainly not appointment tv though.

I thought since they were bringing it back they were going to change it up. But it is exactly the same. I was hoping they'd get rid of the eating creatures part of it.

The best part of this showing is hearing what Rogan says and trying to imagine what's going through his mind watching these people.

Kind of surprised in ten years they didn't up the $$ at all, still $50K, but I'm sure they'll have no shortage of interesting contestants.

I remember hearing him on either Carolla's or Mark Maron's podcast a few months ago saying he couldn't film without getting high first. I wonder if that's still the case.

I'm sure it is. He used to talk about the show and the contestants in his stand-up act. Very funny.

He was clearly high as shit during that. I also like how he was borderline freaking out about the mom and son duo. It was so weird that it made the brother/sister chest bump seem normal.

I bet Joe was hoping those hot blondes would stick around a little longer.

I honestly like to watch this from time to time for Rogan's reactions alone - like when the dude was just staring at the scorpion before eating it "dude, just eat it man come on...just do it" ha - so genuine cause he was grossed out.

Why do producers think putting tools and creeps on these shows are make it more watchable?

The mom and son are way beyond creepy but at least they acknowledged the creepiness ofit in the show.

Also I noticed they blurred out the blond girls right boob a couple times, I guess her nipple was showing.

You would think they might raise the prize money, 50k is not a lot of money for the stuff that is done on this show. I kind of hated Joe Rogan talk about the Fear Factor as being on "back in the day", it was only in 2001. Glad its back.

I really don't think these "bartenders/ wannabe actors/actresses" care about the prize money as much as the television exposure.
This show did really great (over 3 in the demos) so I think it will continue but in a different time slot once The Voice/Smash starts.
