Good Wife now starts at 9:41, so I'm guessing Amazing Race starts at 8:41 (EST)

The way they're playing up the Amani and Marcus "home field advantage," I'd be shocked if they ended up winning this.

Just when it appeared as if there would be no suspense to the finish.

We're going to help those who are truly in need. Please.
Boring final leg, although I liked the '1' trick. I'm surprised Marcus didn't blow up the simulator on 4th, 5th, 6th and 12th down and goal to go.

At least the cab ride didn't alter the final results. Note to Marcus; enough with the footbal analogies.

Ugh, maybe my least favorite person ever wins of course.
And there wasn't even a run at the end? Didn't they have to bike a bridge in the Keys on last season finale? This blew.

Probably weakest winning team I've ever seen and even weaker final leg. The team that won probably still doesn't even know the answer to the puzzle from the leg before. :-)

Living in Atlanta, this last leg at least had me interested in seeing where they'd set up the tasks. I'd gone straight to the Dump that was formerly Home Depot as well, but at least the clue stated "the residence formerly known as the dump", so it was a fair clue. I bet that guy who directed the 2nd place couple to the Dump store has to feel horrible about his impact in their finish in TAR this season. I was screaming at the TV: use the "l" when they couldn't find the "1" key. I have no idea where the Swan House is either, might have heard about it in passing, but nothing that would have ever made me want to go visit it. Was hoping they were going to do a task at the GA. Aquarium.

I completely disagree about this being the weakest team ever winning. After the snowboarders, they were consistently the second strongest team on this race. I think Cindy was an exceptional racer who could have won the race with any number of partners. As for Ernie...he needed Cindy.
Given some of the whiny, petulant, fairly awful people who have won this race in the past, I also don't get least favorite racers ever either. Just off the top of my head, Flo absolutely didn't deserve to win. Freddy and Kendra were not at all likeable people, and Eric and Danielle fell more than 24 hours behind in the season they "won".
While their post race declarations were a little eye-rolling, Cindy and Ernie weren't at all disrespectful to any of the foreign cultures, and they weren't disrespectful to each other either.
As for this leg, I think given the previous legs it wasn't difficult to imagine both losing teams self destructing at some point. They were mostly survive and advance teams for the entire race. The best team still racing won.

Yeah, Cindy and Ernie were great racers--Cindy especially. They made mostly good race decisions, performed well on tasks, and finished consistently at or near the top. Granted, Cindy was sometimes a bit too critical of Ernie and others, but she's not at all bad compared to some of the real jerks we've seen in some seasons.
Sandy and whathisname did well in the last few episodes. I wouldn't have been upset if they'd won.
Marcus and Amani were never very impressive racers. They barely avoided elimination several times, and I considered them underdogs going into the finale--despite it being on their home turf (one more football analogy for Marcus!) I did feel really bad for Marcus during his meltdown on the flight simulator.

Phil seemed surprised when Amani said she had never seen Marcus punch something in anger.

It wasn't the best final leg, but it was still about 10x better than the Florida leg in the season before.

Setting up the trailer yard, and biking the bridge were toughers tasks then anything they had to do last night.

The simulator stuff was interesting for me as I worked in the flight-sim business for a dozen years. I was even offered a job at Flight Safety once. FYI, these things are pretty hard to fly (harder than the actual airplane) so I was surprised to see the first two teams nail a landing so quickly; I though they would all do what Mr. Football did. Here's an interesting tidbit: Did you know that the 9/11 terrorists learned how to fly jets at a Flight Safety school in FLA?
Gotta say, not my favorite team won -- there's just something about that lady that rubs me the wrong way. Especially after that last interview. WTF? Snowboarders should have won, pure and simple.
Is there going to be a winter version of TAR this year?

I am still caught up in why cindy was so bruised in that previous episode. I think her parents preemptively beat her for not practicing the violin while on the race. and for being a girl baby.
