I was surprised carrie didn't question the diplomat at all about brody, even if just for reaction, and maybe she gets something or maybe no and she can stop worrying so much about him.

Also will be interesting to see who the mole is, my bet is on david.

So is this show better than Dexter?

I've been checking the threads this season and it's seemed like nonstop praise. Gonna marathon it once it's over. Have loved Claire Danes since MSCL.

It looked like Carrie was more hurt by the kiss Brody gave his wife than the explosion.

Brody must have ruined Carrie in the cabin in the woods.

Yeah, I think it's significantly better than dexter this season, and probably better overall.

Another solid episode this week and yes, this show is much better than the current season of Dexter (imo).

My only complaint is the mole storyline, because we've seen it a thousand times before.

it's hard to break those mole habits from 24.

It's completely not needed either, because the regular storylines are great.

Anyone think the mole is the black CIA dude?

I agree about not asking a Brody question. It went completely against her character that they have established over the season.

I honestly think she has completely put everything about Brody being turned out of her mind once Walker entered the picture. She's completely off guard with him now. Which should prove to be quite entertaining at some point.

It just doesn't work for me.

They established her as a bulldog who never lets things go and always thinks she is right.

I guess they sold it to me with that scene of her setting the mood for him to come over for a booty call only to have it be him making sure she could keep her whore mouth shut cause he's all about his family.

I'm not saying they won't have her get back on track, but I think her loneliness and brief connection to Brody and guilt for thinking she was on the wrong track has completely made her go the opposite direction and against her own instincts.

Another great episode.

This show is 1000x better than the current Dexter season.

I loved what they did with Brody in this episode, really powerful writing and acting. Carrie was great too.

And yeah, I didn't like the thing about the mole.

Re: Homeland -- "Representative Brody" -- 12/04/11

They did set Carrie up as a no bullshit bulldog, but she's been lonely as far as relationships for so long.......and you know how people can get when they become infatuated with someone.

All rational thought goes out the window, rose-colored glasses come on and people start doing stupid things.

Great show. Can't believe there are only 2 episodes left. I am gonna miss this.

10 for 10. I say it every week, but there is not a dull minute to the show as the hour just flies by.

Re: Homeland -- "Representative Brody" -- 12/04/11

I'd say the mole is either Saul or the guy that helps Carrie with the surveillance. Probably the latter, I think the "hint" of Saul setting off the polygraph is probably just a red herring. Why the surveillance guy? I think he's been in a position to know about everything that the bad guys have been tipped off about and he's a bit more under the radar than the head CIA guy...

The whole Farragut Square scene was absolutely riveting.

For those that watched the preview for next week:
Spoiler:
They can't be setting Brody up to be just a suicide bomber, right? Though I guess he'd be a GREAT way to get close to the Vice President/President to blow them up, I was just hoping that Brody would be around in future seasons because he's such a great character.

It also helps that the last several episodes have also been under 50 minutes long...

Farragut Square in real life looked nothing like Farragut Square in this episode. If they're not going to come close to authenticity, why not just make up a park name?

Yeah, I think the mole is most likely the younger agent whose been assigned to keep tabs on Carrie. They even made a point of noting that he spoke Arabic the first time they showed him.

Re: Homeland -- "Representative Brody" -- 12/04/11

I was referring to the guy who helped spy on Brody, and was over at her house quizzing her before she questioned the Saudi Ambassador guy. But her Muslim co-worker could be the mole too...
