The flying beetle bugs weren't much better. I guess everything by default is bigger in the past.

Wonder what happens to the scientist busybody Maddy exposed? Does he get a pass because they can have apple pie now?

Rules are pretty flexible in Terra Nova. The son is basically a traitor, he gave the drugs to the Sixers, and it seems he will be able to stay free.

Actually a lot of stuff was bigger back then, especially insects.

I don't really mind the CGI. I'd rather they spend less money on special effects and be able to continue making episodes because they're budget isn't ridiculous.

That said, this show is totally lame, and this episode continued the trend!

This show isn't too bad if you accept it for what it is...the TV equal of the summer popcorn flick.

Seems like it's more destined for Syfy than a broadcast network.

A summer popcorn flick usually at least have awesome action. This show is just damn boring.

This show is so dumb. I'm convinced that Stephen Lang's muscles are the only things keeping me watching.

People might care about the show much if the scripts were better.
The CGI is the least of it's problems.

They hyped up the "terrible secret" to be something much bigger than it was. Oh well.

What is the status of this show? I haven't watched any episodes yet and didn't want to until I knew if the show would continue or not. What is the consensus? Worth diving into?

The season will wrap up in December after episode 13. FOX only ordered 13 episodes. A decision on a 2nd probably won't be made until the new year. As far as opinions go, I think it's a watchable time killer. But most in this forum Don't like it. I think most are disappointed the show is not heavily serialized and darker. Most who comment in the threads aren't even talking about the episodes, but giving snarky comments.
