Season 1 had a 6 episode stretch(14-20 maybe) that was nothing but movie parodies, so it wasn't a season 2 problem.

Uhhhh, your forgetting Awake whenever the hell it premieres. Remember it's from that guy named Howard Gordon who produced 24 all those years.

Not related to NBC, but you really should watch Homeland on Showtime. It's probably the best new serial drama this TV season. Also produced by that guy named Howard Gordon and has alot of 24's staff. I hope your not lurking in the Homeland threads because there are so many major spoilers.

Thanks, I missed that. So they cut Parenthood's order to 18, which is one of NBC's best performing shows in the ratings and critically acclaimed to premiere a cheapie Fashion reality show. If they were using that timeslot to premiere Awake, I wouldn't be as pissed.

30 Rock is pretty much a self promotional show for NBC. It could get 4M viewers and 1.5 in the demos and NBC will still keep it on the air as long as Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin want to do the show.

Is Awake on NBC? At any rate, it's not currently on, so I have 1 NBC show on my Season pass list.

I don't get Showtime, so Homeland will have to wait for DVD/BD.

Ugh. Whitney stays but Community goes on hiatus? What is wrong with the TV-watching public?

Really hope Community comes back.

According to a new story from Deadline.com today, Prime Suspect is as good as dead. NBC is shutting down production after episode 13, which starts filming soon.

Sucks for Maria Bello. I like her alot, but I can see how this show didn't really reasonate with mainstream viewers. The really nasty sexism in the 1st few episodes I think hurt the show. Even though she's an older actress, I'm sure she can still get some supporting role work in Indies or a few A-list movies. I doubt she will get another lead role for TV.

The advertising did Prime Suspects in for me, terrible campaign.

I thought they just gave Prime Suspect a 6 episode pickup a few weeks ago.

I like the show, Bello is excellent, but procedural are a tough sell anymore. The show got infinitely better once they dropped the sexism crap.

*I forgot this was an NBC show, so NOW I'm down to just the Office.
