Yeah, Bill and Cathi are kicking some ass in this. Pretty impressive to come in second after being U-Turned. When the race started, I figured they'd probably be one of the first teams eliminated.

The 3rd season had an older couple Teri & Ian who I believe were in their late 50s/early 60s at the time and they finished 2nd.

Well, they did finish last by a rather substantial margin in the first leg. It just ended up being non-elmination. After that they seemed to find their travel legs. They looked pretty clueless in that first leg though.

And Ian and Terri weren't that old in their first go around. Ian was 50 and Terri was 49.

retired couple Meredith & Gretchen came in 4th on the Rob and Amber season ( 7th season) They were definitely the middle of the pack but stayed in until almost the end.

ETA: Cathi sounds EXACTLY like Kitty Foreman on that 70s show.

And Meredith was a man.
