and Penny/Leonard bantering back and forth was good.
This is more of the type of episode I like (I didn't care for the girl-centric one last week at all).

Not as funny as New Girl, but I still enjoyed this. I think Leonard should have banged Penny when she gave him the opening (no pun intended).

Yep, chuckled quite a bit watching this one. Sheldon's switch from terror to love for the bird was pretty funny, and Leonard and Penny played off each other very well. I find the other girls funnier when they aren't paired with their "significant other". Amy is way better when she's not with Sheldon and Bernadette is better when she's not with Howard. I espcially found Bernadette hilarious in this one.

I laugh myself silly watching The Big Bang Theory. Not so much with New Girl. I gave up on that show. I really loved this episode. The George Lucas line was classic. I hope Penny and Leonard get back together.

Me too. He regards it as some sort of degree from ITT.
I really enjoyed the episode. Laughed more than a few times. Leonard should have really pushed his luck and kissed her the second she took a step toward him.

I think it was a very weak episode. As I've said I've been waiting for them to make Penny the lead female charactor in the show again, and it seemed as if this show begins that attempt. However, and this has been said before, they lack any chemistry together--compare them to when Penny's doing schtick with Sheldon.
