Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the gruesome murders of resident mediums in Lily Dale, the most "psychic" town in America. They discover that an angry spirit is killing off the psychics one by one, but in a town full of people who claim to be summoning spirits, they have a little trouble identifying the medium controlling the ghost. Mike Rohl directed the episode written by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker (#707).

Just saw last week's episode with the Sam and Dean doubles and thought that was easily the best of the season so far. It had alot of the humor the season has been lacking.

I am wondering how often Sam and Dean have killed people, not people possessed by demons, or some kind of monster, but just regular people. Methinks that guy tonight was one of very few.

This has went the way of several fantasy/sci-fi shows and lasted longer than maybe it should have. Still enjoyable but past it greatest moments.

I thought it was a fun one-off. Reminded me of the leprechaun episode from last season.

This episode reminded me a lot of Season 1 & 2 stand-alone episodes, so it was nice to get away from the mythology arc for a bit.

They had to dump it last week when they got new identities.

So Sam and Dean split up for about 5 minutes? This is what comes from Dean killing Amy? Seems like a waste of time.

I can't remember but is Dean still not being completely honest with Sam, does Sam know about Amy's kid?

I'm pretty sure Sam knows about the kid. I think that was Amy's explanation for why she had to kill (cause her kid was sick or something).

Exactly. It was the all important excuse that convinced Sam to let her go yet he seems to have totally forgotten that the kid even exists.

I finally watched this. I can't believe that's the resolution to the whole Amy thing. They break up for a whole week, Dean bitches at Sam, Sam just rolls over, and that's that. With no mention of the kid. This is just horrible.
