Synopsis:

Spoiler:
"Cops & Robbers" -- When Castle and Martha are taken hostage by a crew of bank robbers dressed in hospital scrubs and using classic television doctor names (Trapper John M.D., Dr. Huxtable, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman and Dr. Doogie Howser), Beckett finds herself on the outside, desperately trying to rescue them -- which proves to be even more difficult with a by-the-book hostage negotiator (guest star Dean Norris, "Breaking Bad") watching her every move. Castle becomes the de facto leader of the hostages, which includes Barry Livingston ("My Three Sons"), and discovers that the robbery is actually a skillfully orchestrated distraction for an even more sinister plan. But with Castle stuck on the inside and Beckett on the outside, will either be able to foil the bank robbers' plans before it is too late? "Castle" airs MONDAY, OCTOBER 31 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

This was a great episode. Loved when Castle's mom interrupted his moment with Beckett.

That was a damn good episode. I guess this counts as one of Castle's "Dark" episodes this season.

Cool twist with the epileptic guy being the mastermind behind the whole robbery.

Yeah I also got a laugh when Castle and Beckett's moment was interrupted by Martha.

I also enjoyed when Martha interrupted them, that was good. Nice twist on who the mastermind was as well. Some of the episode did remind me of the Psych episode though when they were held up in a bank seasons ago.

I liked the episode... until the end. Yeah, the epileptic guy being the mastermind was good but the reason surrounding the heist was weak IMO. Still, far better than what most shows come up with.

It was a good twist. Standard heist plot would have had the corpses being some random bystanders the robbers brought in to cover their escape.

I knew the epileptic guy was in on it, but I also thought the bodies in the vault weren't really the robbers, so I was half and half.

Great episode. I guessed wrong on everything. Thought those weren't the robbers bodies, and didn't think the epileptic guy was involved.

To be honest I suspected the guy the moment he asked to use the bathroom, but then second guessed myself once he had the seizure. I thought he was just a plant working for the crew to keep tabs on the hostages.

I started suspecting him when he snitched on Castle, but the seizure is actually what made me sure that he was in on it. It looked exactly like an alka-seltzer in the mouth, fake seizure.

I suspected the buy because of Ebert's Law of Economy of Characters. If a nobody is given significant screen time and dialogue, he's probably a victim or the villain.
