I am cracking up at the first two lines. Andy with his idea, and then Dwight agreeing to it and carrying through...should be good.

And on a side note, DJariya, I want to say thanks for making the threads for Leverage starting with episode 1! I've been catching up on the program (just finished season 1), and have been looking into the threads after watching each one.

Great cold open, but a perfect example of how less can actually be more. Jim describing the defacement and then seeing the unaltered billboards was hilarious; seeing the blurred out one with Andy and Dwight sort of ruined the gag.

---

I thought Josh Groban did a pretty good job as Andy's younger brother, given his limited screen-time. I liked the subtle dig at Andy that his younger brother was named Walter Jr.

Jim's prank on Dwight was a good one.

I really do like how the rest of the office is being supportive of Andy, but they'll need to change it up pretty soon or that formula will become stale since we've seen each episode end in a similar fashion since the premiere.

I figured Pam naming her baby Phillip was a prank, but I guess not?

She gave the name before she knew that Angela was going to use the name too, how would it have been a prank?

Yeah, not sure what the prank would be with the name Philip.

I loved the opening, but the middle was somewhat boring. The closing with Jim walking back and forth was great.

Mose taking Toby's car had me cracking up. The rest, not so much.

I thought Gabe was dead or something.

I liked all the supporting cast, but the whole Andy thing really fell flat since, as someone put it earlier, he's constantly seeking approval every week now.

Thought it was ok. Lately it's been less about the laughs and more about the heart. Which is fine for a few episodes but I would like to see a run where they're just doing joke after joke.

This episode was pretty "meh" in my book. I've tired of Jim's practical jokes on Dwight...

Thumbs sideways. A few laughs, not as many as I'd like.

These antics still produce the most laughs for me.

In a reference to last week's thread...this, to me, was a good example where a dumb plot could be a good episode, as I laughed plenty. Thought Jim's book was great.

Meh. I guess. If they were funny. This seemed REALLY over the top. The guy wrote and then made an entire book from scratch on the off chance that Dwight would find it on eBay to make him a laughingstock at his new boss' garden party?

Yeah, that's what I was gonna post too. He actually made a professional looking book? Seems a lot of work for someone with a young child at home.

Also, I thought Mose couldn't speak for some reason. Is this the first time we've heard him speak?

We've seen Jim go to some incredible lengths to prank Dwight before, although its definitely weird that he would be able to whip up a book that quickly after whenever Andy's invite was.

It's been my experience that when you start nit picking stuff like this, whatever you were watching wasn't that good.

This and it was also a rehash of when Jim "taught" Dwight how to give a good speech.

The pranks are better when they have the aura of "I'm bored in the office, I need something to keep me entertained." rather than "this is the only joy I get in life."

To be fair I'm more of a suspend your belief for the sake of show/movie guy and even the book made me double take when I first saw it. It was just too ridiculous

I agree that the "I'm bored at work" pranks tend to come off better. Stuff like this almost makes Jim seem like some kind of stalker psychopath.

Considering Angela talks about her cats all of the time and was constantly talking about her Senator husband and pregnancy, I figured Pam might have overheard her and decided to run with it.

I really enjoyed this episode. Lots of laughs sprinkled throughout the episode. The bird stealing Erin's hat and Josh Groban not wanting to sing and then immediately busts out in song was funny. And then the car going through the cornfield was hilarious.

"Who's the best salesman...?"

"That's easy, it's... MR JIM HALPERT!"
