^ I thought you were serious, I was looking at the lineup of future shows for her name.
McCarthy was really good, I was quite surprised at how good she was in the sketches. I thought she was good on the barely-remembered Samantha Who as well. Made me think that she should have been a cast member of this show.
BTW, anyone notice Kristin Wiig was barely on it? She did the Welk sketch and the bar sketch where the women were all belittling Andy Samberg while he was trying to pick up Melissa.

Once I got the point that the host was fat after about 15 minutes of having it beaten into my skull the rest of the show was pretty much uneventful.

Did anybody else have problems understanding what Melissa McCarthy was saying at times? She seems to mumble a good amount.

I had no issue understanding McCarthy. Her characters during the ep all seemed extremely similar though (and all seemed just like her Bridesmaids character).
Not at all.
She was on a decent amount, opening, welcome and an additional sketch or two, I'm sure she's a bit busier these days.
