I didn't have HBO during season one, but saw the series premiere when they had the free preview. Loved it. Then got HBO for Game of Thrones and watched season one repeats. Love the show. I'm a sucker for period pieces though. BTW, that's the same actress that played Van Alden's wife last season.

Glad to hear that. I hate when they switch the actors with look-alikes (Darrin Stephens, anyone?)

I'm just making a guess, so it's not a spoiler, but does anyone else think Chalky's son will be hanging before the season is done? Seemed like they were really making a big deal out of him.

The scene immediately following Van Alden's raid on the restaurant cracked me up.

Yeah...looks like the writers are setting up a tragedy. But come on, guys, that would be way too obvious of a plot device. I'd hope that the writers would be more creative than that.
