Got off to a strong start last week (sans Haddie's terrible haircut).

With Katims winning an Emmy on Sunday, I hope NBC will use that to help promote this show.

Maybe...."From Jason Katims, the Emmy Award Winning Producer of Friday Night Lights"

But the thing is, It's going to be really hard for this show to gain any new viewers now. I think the people still watching now have been with it since day 1.

If they move it to 9pm it could grow. 10pm is still pretty late. This would be better on Tuesday nights instead of Harry's Law.

You mean Wednesdays at 9pm right? It might get slightly better numbers, but it would be facing the ABC sitcoms and X-Factor on Wednesday.

OMG, Adam is such an idiot. He has a kid coming, a mortgage and 2 other kids and wants to invest in his dumbshit brothers recording studio. He should have played it safe and taken the beverage job.

Sarah and Mr. Cyr's scenes were amazing. I really liked Sarah telling Amber that she was falling in love with him and wanted to get her approval. I really hope they keep Jason Ritter around awhile.

Alex's confession to Haddie about his past was really poignant. I really think Michael B. Jordan is going to be a star. He was amazing on Friday Night Lights and he's been solid here.

Good episode, but I want to punch Adam and kick Crosby in the nuts.

This story is frustrating as everyone except the two characters themselves can see doom for the entire scenario.

The thing with Max, Jabbar and his friends was nice.

I think the Alex and the charges is totally lame. Those parents are more concerned about pressing charges against him over their kid who was hosting an underage drinking party in their home? Sounds like THAT ought to be their concern and not that some sober adult decked him for being a drunken dick at an illegal party he threw in their home.

If I'm to look at this show as Real Life, I find it difficult to tell people what they should do. We can certainly point out the path most likely to succeed (in our opinions, of course), but that only goes so far. Life is full of examples of people who take risks and fail. But life is also full of successful people who otherwise wouldn't be if they hadn't taken risks. Sometimes all that separates success from failure is the willingness to take a risk and the motivation and smarts to try to make your risk pay off.

I do think Adam has his eyes open. He made some comments in the last episode about the economy being down, musicy industry being down, and why would people need a recording studio when they can record in their basement? But I'm going to display the other side. Why do bars even exist? Can't people just buy their on liquor for much cheaper and drink at home? The reason people drink in bars is for the social interaction that comes with it. Crosby is hoping he can create an environment for musicians that is similar. It may not work, but it's not completely crazy.

Good God, Sarah is even annoying during sex.

Note to Jason Ritter: that beard/goatee thing you have going doesn't make you look older, it just makes you look like a porn star.

Note to writers: please stop making the Dad look like an complete idiot. Between the financial mess (was that ever settled?) story line from the first season, to barging in on his 40 yr old daughter and giving out social security numbers .. he has way too much time on his hands. Give him something to do.

I would think the cops would be busting the under age drinking as much as one guy throwing a punch - and it seems like they would try to get everyone to just go away, and make no arrest.

He'll always be Wallace to me

Jason Ritter's beard is almost as distracting as Scott Caan's ridiculous hair. It's bumming me out.

Really? I thought the opposite was shown in this episode. He knew Sarah had a "friend" over and was just messing with them. And the conversation with Adam about Crosby was very telling. He was manipulating that situation as well. He knew what he was doing when he gave Crosby the social security number. He believes this is the best thing for both Adam and Crosby and he was trying to steer things that way. And Adam realized it at the end of the conversation, apparent from his "You suck, Dad" line. I'm with you on the dad looking bad last season, but even then he had flashes of being the subtle guide of the family. I'm hoping they stick with it this season since it seems to be a natural feeling with Craig T. Nelson.

Sometimes I think that Haddie has the Aspergers, by the way she speaks and stares at people, shes kind of in a cult crazy.
