Though I hated the show, I always thought Patricia Heaton and Ray Romano on Everybody Loves Raymond seemed pretty normal looking.

I thought that too, it's weird that that tvtropes site listed in the other thread specifically uses ELR as an example of the man being so horribly ugly. (especially when they also mention multiple times that Scrubs doesn't count because Braff isn't ugly)
