I just noticed I put the wrong date in the title, my bad folks. Maybe I should leave it to the professionals like DJariya

This season needs a couple of real strong episodes.
It's fine but nowhere close to Season 3.

Walt has become so unlikeable this season; every episode he does something irrational and dangerous. Definitely not the same guy from the first three seasons, although I guess it's explainable in that everything is sort of spiraling out of control and Walt is cracking under the pressure. Still though, blowing up a brand new car? What about that seemed like a good idea?
Season 3 was definitely the best, but I think the three best episodes of that season (One Minute, Half Measure, and Full Measure) are what stand out in people's memories and color their opinions about this season.

And great ep. Yet again. Hank is fun again. Excellent season thus far.

Man, what a great episode. Despite Walt's ridiculousness, Jesse and Hank both really delivered this episode and made it probably the best of the season.
It's interesting to see Jesse's loyalties being tested, although I can't imagine why he would think Gus and Mike were looking out for his best interest when they really were ready to kill him until Walt stepped in. Aaron Paul got some great scenes this episode too; the opening scene with flashbacks of shooting Gale was pretty intense; and Jesse's monologue provided some more insight into his own struggles in figuring out where he fits in in all of this.
It's great to have Hank back as well. Watching him piece things together and present his case to Gomez and his boss was great. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this all plays out since Gus will have both the Cartel and the DEA coming for him. Once Walt learns that Gus is on Hank's radar his smartest move would probably be to cut a deal with the feds for Jesse and himself, although I can't see Walt doing that.

Anyone know what else the Cartel guy has been in? I feel like I've seen him in a few things recently but can't quite place him.

Nerdy me thought of that as well. Perhaps it's Move controlled?

There was a line at the very end of the credits that Zenimax(distributor) had paid for the promo. So maybe they just showed up with a sack of money, ha. Surprised they didn't do it next week, a week before the launch, but maybe there are limits to how far Gilligan will go.

Doesn't this show take place in the past now? I think they've said that the first 3 seasons covered about a year of time. Unless the first season took place in the future from when it originally aired.

I got up early during the episode so I may have missed it, but why in the hell did Walt think it was a good idea to torch the Challenger?

Fantastic episode.
at Skyler trying to launder half a million dollars a month, with all fifty-dollar bills. Good luck with that, babe.
It was cool seeing Hank do some good detective work. I wouldn't be surprised if his boss is on Gus' payroll.
Aaron Paul is really doing some good work. It's sad to watch Jesse basically losing his soul, but Paul does a great job portraying it. Loved his monologue at the AA meeting.

Walt wanting to off Gus is what I predicted but the cartel or DEA might get to him first. More than likely Walt will hear from Hank and he'll want to kill Gus right away to protect himself and Jessie.
I would have blown up the Challenger as I was leaving the dealer, but that's just me...if I made millions.

I have a feeling the slow burn is about to pay off starting next week. Fantastic episode tonight. Walt is an idiot for sure and has really become even more unlikable. Some great scenes for Aaron Paul tonight, really felt the emotion that he was conveying through Jesse and how guilty he feels over killing Gale. Also really liked seeing Hank doing some detective work at the end and pinning the finger on Gus' involvement in the blue meth distribution.

I think the gun was just set-up for the show. x-play had an interview with one of the guys at id a few weeks ago and he mentioned that they have a great relationship with the staff of of BB and there are references to the show in the game.

I thought it was a writing error when Hank was shown putting the cup into the evidence bag. I kept thinking, "How did Hank make that big of a leap to it being Gus behind the meth?" But when he laid it all out for Gomez and his boss, it all made sense. I thought they were going to laugh him out of the room when he pointed to Gus' picture on the wall. I knew he had to have got a hit on the prints.

It's been mentioned in this thread, but I think the answer was obvious. The show has been missing Hank. I personally don't think the show ever completely full "clicked" until he became a three dimensional character, and it was frustrating watching him lay in bed and catalog rocks...err...minerals.

I laughed out loud when they had the vegetable tray on Jesse's lap as they were driving to the meeting.
I kind of thought that Gus was some ABQ solo kingpin, but with the multi-national web that Hank was describing, I guess that they understood you need more than a carwash or a chicken restaurant to hide this much money.

Am I the only one that noticed the shaky/vibrating camera on Gus while they were at the meeting?
